A hypothetical-deductive, non-experimental, correlational, and cross-sectional method was used. A sample of 135 employees (68.9% male, 31.1% female) aged 18 to 30 years was selected. The Occupational Stress Scale (OIT – WHO) and the Job Performance Questionnaire were administered in person. The results revealed that 5.9% showed a high level of job stress, with organizational and team factors being the main source of stress (4.4%). However, 85.2% exhibited adequate job performance. It was also found that job stress correlates negatively, but weakly and significantly, with job performance (rho = -0.183; p < 0.05).
