Instead, to identify what the variable to study represents, the first thing to understand is the human behavior, structure and also organizational processes. For this we need to present scientific evidence to direct our efforts. Objective: To determine the relationship between work environment and burnout syndrome in intensive care unit nurses. Method: the hypothetical-deductive method will be used, the study will have a quantitative approach, and the design will be observational diet a cross-sectional correlational level. The population and census sample will be nada up of all the nursing staff who work in the intensive care area of the Archbishop Loayza National Hospital, the sample will be taken in 2022 using two highly reliable customaries such as the Litwin and Stringer questionnaire and the questionnaire Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI-HSS) both questionnaires will collect data to be processed through non-parametric tests to define the relationship between both variables in order to predict the work environment in nursing staff.
