Ítem Acceso abierto Quality of service and patient satisfaction in the hemodialysis unit of a national hospital in Callao, 2023(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2023-12-12) Vizarreta Viti, Viviana María; Fernández Rengifo, Werther FernandoThe general objective of the present study was to determine the relationship between quality of service and patient care satisfaction in the hemodialysis service of a Callao Hospital, 2023. Materials and Methods: The research is a hypothetical-deductive method, quantitative approach, applied, non-experimental, cross-sectional and correlational. The population or unit of analysis will consist of 120 patients belonging to the hemodialysis service. Regarding data collection, this will be done by means of two surveys in the form of reliable questionnaires and duly validated by the work of Alvarado (2022). Regarding the validation of the variable quality of service (p=0.22) and patient satisfaction (p=0.25), according to the evaluation of six expert judges in terms of relevance, pertinence and clarity, which will be calculated using the binomial test. For reliability, the Kuder Richardson coefficient will be calculated from the variables quality of service (KR20=0.95) and patient satisfaction (KR-20=0.98) for a population of 120 patients with chronic kidney disease receiving hemodialysis. Excel and SPSS will be used to process and analyze the data, and the results will be presented in tables and/or figures, with Spearman's correlation test (Rho) to define the relationship between the study variables.
