Ítem Acceso abierto Level of anxiety and depression in SAMU health professionals in times of Covid-19, Lima - 2020(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2024-08-05) Yacolca Santos, Lucy Miriam; Rodríguez del Aguila, TaniaThe general objective of this research was: Determine the level of anxiety and depression in health professionals at SAMU in times of COVID-19, Lima - 2020. The research method was hypothetical-deductive, with a quantitative approach, basic type of character. , Non-experimental, transversal and descriptive design. The study population will be made up of the 250 health professionals who work at the SAMU of Lima, who will be the subject of this research. The sample consists of a total of 50 health professions from the SAMU of Lima. The results obtained indicated that there is intense moderate depression in times of COVID-19 in 22%, while the majority presented moderate-mild depression with 70% and 8% were within normal limits. Regarding anxiety, the sample presented intense anxiety in times of COVID-19 in 4%, while 50% presented moderate anxiety and 46% presented mild anxiety. It can be concluded that 92% of the professionals presented some degree of depression and 100% presented some level of anxiety. These results support the alternative hypothesis (H1) and reject the null hypothesis (H0). Keywords: depression, anxiety, health professionals, SAMU, COVID-19.
