SARS-CoV-2 causes a disease called COVID-19, and since its emergence, it has spread worldwide, becoming a pandemic. The objective of this study was “To determine the level of knowledge and attitudes regarding preventive measures against COVID-19 in residents aged 18 to 50 years of the Human Settlement Villa Alejandro, First Stage – Lurín.” The research methodology was quantitative, cross-sectional, descriptive, and non-experimental. The sample consisted of 211 residents between 18 and 50 years of age. For data collection, a survey was used to assess knowledge, and a Likert scale questionnaire was used to assess attitudes; both were validated by expert judgment and reliability testing. The results showed that 75.4% of the residents presented a “high level of knowledge” and 95.3% considered that the attitude of compliance with preventive measures is “very important” against COVID-19. In conclusion, the study indicated that the level of knowledge of the residents of the Human Settlement Villa Alejandro, First Stage – Lurín is high, and they consider compliance with preventive measures against COVID-19 as “very important.”
