Leguía, Lima – Perú, 2022(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-06-08) Yauri Aburto, Zoraida Antonia; Caycho Valencia, Félix AlbertoObjective: To determine the relationship between Burnout syndrome and the quality of care in nursing staff. Materials and methods: Quantitative approach study, hypothetical-deductive method, correlational level and non-experimental, crosssectional design. The population will be made up of 120 people between nursing graduates and nursing technicians who work at the PNP Augusto B. Leguía hospital. The technique to be used was the survey and the instruments used were: the quality of care questionnaire and the Maslach Burnout Inventory questionnaire to measure Burnout syndrome. Results: There is a significant negative correlation between the variables burnout syndrome and quality of care of the nursing staff with a correlation coefficient of -0.992. Conclusions: It is evident that there are negative and significant relationships between the Burnout syndrome and the human, technical-scientific and environment dimensions of the quality of nursing care, showing relationship coefficients of -0.844, -0.927 and -0.982 respectively.
