    Spiritual nursing care perceived by cancer patients in a general hospital in Lima.

    Cancer is a serious health issue in our country and worldwide, as it is one of the leading causes of death, along with the physical and psychological limitations it may generate. When science can no longer provide resources to alleviate the disease, spirituality becomes a source of support for the patient, and healthcare personnel can use it as a tool for the patient’s recovery process. Spirituality and religiosity positively influence the health of cancer patients because they can improve quality of life, provide well-being and vitality, reduce stress, pain intensity, fatigue, and the perceived threat to life due to the illness. Objective: To determine how spiritual care in nursing is perceived by cancer patients at a General Hospital in Lima. Material and methods: This study is quantitative, descriptive, and cross-sectional. A survey will be employed for data collection. The main variable will be measured using the spiritual care questionnaire.
