Ítem Acceso abierto Emotional coping and quality of life of ostomized patients in consultation at the INEN ostomy therapy unit, during the months of June to August, 2017(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2018-05-25) Yovera Martínez, Genara Jhuliana; Mocarro Aguilar, María RosarioMethod; quantitative, correlational, applied, cross-sectional, population (45 ostomy patients), instruments used: Coping Strategy Scale – modified (coping) and the Stoma QQL Questionnaire (quality of life). Results; emotional coping; 100% have a medium coping and in its dimensions; the majority have a medium coping (44% to 71%), except the aggressive reaction dimension which presents a low (47%), medium (42%) and high (11%) coping. Quality of life; 93.3% have poor quality of life, 6.7% moderate, in its dimensions almost all presented moderate quality of life ranging from 38% to 67%, except the sexual activity dimension where 51% have poor quality of life, 38% moderate and 11% good, To establish the relationship between emotional coping and quality of life, Pearson's R test was applied, resulting in r = 0.529, with probability of error p-value = 0.000186, therefore the correlation is significant at the 0.01 level, obtaining a direct moderate correlation, that is, there is a relationship between Emotional coping and Quality of life of the ostomy patient. Conclusion; There is a relationship between emotional coping and quality of life of the ostomy patient in the INEN ostomy therapy consultation.Ítem Acceso abierto Working conditions and occupational risks in health workers in a national hospitalization area, Lima - 2023(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2023-12-10) Yovera Martínez, Genara Jhuliana; Pretell Aguilar, Rosa MaríaObjective: “Determine the relationship that exists between working conditions and occupational risks in health workers.” The population will consist of 30 health workers who work in a national hospitalization area. Sample: the total population. Methodological Design: The type of research will be applied. Design will be observational, correlational, descriptive and transversal. Instruments: To evaluate the variable “Working Conditions”, the questionnaire adapted by Juan Carlos García Ubaque and other collaborators in Bogotá, Colombia in 2011, taken from Pizarro's thesis, reliable using KR20 statistics, will be used, resulting in 0.92. and to evaluate the variable "Occupational Risks" the questionnaire developed by Vernikha Dionisio de la Cruz in 2017, taken from Ureta's thesis, will be applied, reliable through the Kruder Richardson coefficient method, obtaining the value of 0.760. The data collection technique will be the survey. Statistical processing and data analysis: it will be carried out using descriptive techniques and frequencies expressed in percentages, the statistical analysis will be analyzed by statistical analysis depending on its distribution through parametric statistical tests (Pearson Correlation) or non-parametric tests (Spearman Rho Correlation).
