Materials and methods: the study is non-experimental, applied and correlational; with a population of 169 children from 0 to 12 years old who attend the Parish Medical Center, Lima-Perú, 2024, the sample was 115 children and the sampling was non-probabilistic so exclusion criteria are applied . and inclusion. Results: 87% of children were adherent when the factors in general did not affect their behavior, 87% adherent regarding socioeconomic factors, 65.2% regarding disease factors, 82.6% regarding the health care team, 73.9% regarding to treatment factors and 82.6% to the factors of the person administering the treatment. Regarding the factors and therapeutic adherence to ferrous supplements, there is a significant relationship since p=0.018 was obtained. In relation to the socioeconomic factor, disease factors, health care team factors, treatment factors and people who administer the treatment, a significant relationship was found with p=0.043, 0.004, 0.013, 0.031, 0.008 respectively. Conclusion: there is a relationship between the factors and therapeutic adherence to ferrous supplements in children under 12 years of age.
