Health institutions use the evaluation of patient satisfaction as an indicator to increase the expectations of patients in order to guarantee the best acceptance in care and good satisfaction in cancer patients in the emergency service. OBJECTIVE: To determine the relationship between the quality of nursing care and the level of satisfaction in cancer patients in the emergency service of the National Institute of Neoplastic Diseases, Lima 2022. MATERIALS AND METHODS: The research method is hypothetical deductive, approach quantitative, type of basic research, non-experimental, cross-sectional research design, correlational descriptive level. The technique for data collection will be the survey for both variables. The instrument to be used will be quality of nursing care and consists of 39 items, corresponding to the Likert scale from 1 to 3. Its values are: (1) never, (2) sometimes, (3) always and for the patient satisfaction instrument the scale contains 31 items that correspond to a Likert scale from 1 to 3. Materials and methods: This study has a quantitative approach, is cross-sectional, has a non-experimental design, the The population consisted of 60 nurses. The sample was non-random, for convenience and the entire population was evaluated. The technique used was the survey. The instrument used, Quality of professional life, consists of 35 items that respond on a Likert-type scale from 1 to 10 with values: (1.2), not at all (3, 4, 5), somewhat (6, 7, 8). , quite (9,10) a lot. Results: 71.7% of Nursing professionals perceive an average quality of professional life; Among the dimensions of quality of professional life (QOL), the following stood out: in the workload dimension, 78.3% perceived medium QOL; In the managerial support dimension, 73.3% presented a medium QOL; In the intrinsic motivation dimension, 56.7% perceived high QOL. Conclusions: It was determined that Nursing professionals perceive an average quality of professional life in the Emergency service of the National Institute of Neoplastic Diseases.
