Ítem Acceso abierto Nursing knowledge and practices in the prevention of pressure injuries in the intensive care unit of Clínica Good Hope, Lima 2023(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2024-03-03) Zarate Zelada de Rivas, Mirla Yeseña; Suarez Valderrama, Yurik AnatoliObjective “To determine the relationship between knowledge and nursing practice in the prevention of pressure injuries in the Good Hope 2023 clinical intensive care unit”, research that was used in the 40 nurses who work at the Good Hope clinic. Methodological design: the method to be used is the hypothetical deductive one, with a quantitative, applied approach and the design is non-experimental. To collect the data in the knowledge variable, the survey technique will be used and the questionnaire will be used as an instrument and for the the practice variable, the technique used, will be observation and a checklist will be used as an instrument. Instrument I: The Pressure Injury Prevention Knowledge Scale was tested and found to have good internal consistency (content validity), Aiken's V coefficient was greater than 0.750 and had adequate validity, an alpha coefficient was obtained. Cronbach's score of 0.790. Instrument 2: The internal consistency of the pressure ulcer prevention scale was tested with an Aiken V greater than 0.812, showing that the proposed items were within the specified range. Reliability obtained a Cronbach's alpha coefficient of 0.795 for pressure ulcer prevention practices; therefore, the instruments were sufficiently reliable and suitable for use. Statistical processing and data analysis: they will be organized in tables and processed in the SPSS 27 statistical program, represented by frequency tables and graphs with percentages, the statistical analysis will be through parametric statistical tests (Pearson Correlation) or nonparametric (Spearman's Rho Correlation).
