Materials and Methods: Observational and retrospective systematic review, which synthesizes the results of multiple primary investigations. They are an essential part of evidence-based nursing due to their rigorous methodology. The search has been restricted to articles with full text, and the selected articles were subjected to critical reading, using the Grade method to assign the strength of recommendation. Results: 50% of the authors; They affirm that nasal irrigation with Isotonic Saline Solution is effective, safe, well tolerated and economical, achieving a reduction in the symptoms of acute sinusitis and allergic rhinitis, improving the quality of sleep, optimizing the quality of life of children. 50% of the authors demonstrate that the use of nasal irrigation with Hypertonic Saline Solution is effective to control the symptoms of rhinitis, rhinosinusitis as well as seasonal allergic rhinoconjunctivitis, its use as an adjuvant treatment is tolerable and economical, improving mucociliary clearance in patients with chronic sinusitis. Conclusions: Pediatric patients treated with hypertonic saline nasal irrigation showed a greater effect compared to isotonic saline solution in cases of chronic sinusitis and rhinosinusitis. Some articles point out that isotonic saline solution is more effective in cases of acute sinusitis and allergic rhinitis.
