Ítem Acceso abierto Level of physical activity and musculoskeletal disorders in students of the experimental school during the pandemic, Nuevo Chimbote, 2023(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2024-05-28) Zavaleta Sisterna, Lucero Naomi; Melgarejo Valverde, Jose AntonioMusculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) are common pathologies that represent a significant public health problem. Physical activity is crucial for health, as it reduces the risk of physical and mental diseases and strengthens muscles, preventing injuries. Sedentary behavior is the primary cause of these disorders, which affect people of all ages, with higher prevalence in adults. However, this project focuses on high school students (ages 12-17) because these disorders can begin in adolescence. Virtual education, imposed due to COVID-19, has exacerbated these problems, creating new physical and psychosocial risks.
