The study population will be made up of 45 nursing care professionals from the emergency area, the cardiac arrest faced in the emergency has a high-grade resolution, the patient enters the shock trauma unit, it is evaluated if the patient is breathing, has a pulse, if he responds to the call, with these clinical data we proceed to apply cardiac massage with a depth of 5 cm in five cycles, oxygen every 2 seconds, evaluate the patient's pulse in each cycle and if he does not have a pulse continue with the massage cardiac, it is important to administer adrenaline every 5 minutes, and follow the AHA protocol. 100% of the population will be studied. The instrument was a questionnaire from the study carried out by Gálvez Centeno C. (18) It consists of 21 questions and/or closed statements with multiple and dichotomous alternatives. The questions in the questionnaire are based on the knowledge that the nursing professional who works in the emergency area must have, the dimensions are to identify cardiorespiratory arrest and cardiopulmonary resuscitation, perform chest compression, airway, ventilation and early defibrillation. The evaluation according to the score is high from 15 to 21, medium from 7 to 14 and low from 1 to 6.
