Ítem Acceso abierto Self-care agency in tuberculosis patients attending maternal-child health centers in Caquetá at the first level of care in Rímac, 2019(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2020-01-09) Zurita Mucha, Liz Gissela; Cárdenas de Fernández, María HildaObjective: to determine the capacity of self-care agency in patients with tuberculosis who attend the Maternal and Child health centers and Caquetá of the first level of care of Rímac - 2019. Material and method: The study method is quantitative in approach and the design is not experimental, descriptive and cross-sectional. The total population of the study was 101 patients who attended the Maternal and Child Health Center and Caquetá in the Rímac district. The data collection technique used was the survey and the instrument was the 24-item self-care agency capacity scale translated into Spanish by Esther Gallegos. Results: the result was that 35.6% (36) of the participants presented medium level self-care agency capacity and 33.7% (34) followed by low self-care agency capacity. Regarding the dimensions, regarding the dimensions of Promotion and Functioning of personal development 40.6% (41), Personal Well-being 39.6% (40) and activity and rest 43.6% (44) have low-level self-care agency capacity, without However, in the dimensions of food 50.5%(51) and social interaction 42.6%(43) present medium self-care agency capacity. Conclusions: Patients with tuberculosis who attend the Maternal and Child health center and Caquetá del Rímac have medium-level self-care agency capacity, followed by low-level self-care agency capacity.
