Ítem Acceso abierto Relationship between the gonial angle and the impacted mandibular third molars in the Ceradent Radiology Center, Lima 2023(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2024-07-13) Castillo Ruiz, Ruddy Kevin; Gómez Carrión, Christian EstebanThe objective of this research was to determine the relationship between the gonial angle (GA) and impacted mandibular third molars (3M) in panoramic radiographs at the Ceradent Radiological Center, Lima – 2023. The study design was observational descriptive, non-experimental, and cross-sectional. The results showed a relationship between GA and gender (p=0.031), as well as between mandibular 3Ms and gender. A higher percentage of 33.2% was observed, where the horizontal position of mandibular 3Ms prevailed in the female gender compared to 19.4% in the male gender. It was concluded that there is a statistically significant relationship between the GA and impacted mandibular 3Ms in panoramic radiographs at the Ceradent Radiological Center, Lima – 2023.
