Nursing professionals are the first line in the care of patients with HIV-AIDS, the knowledge that they may have about the disease will lead to the provision of human quality care. Likewise, it is important to highlight that there are studies that demonstrate that high levels of anxiety generate fear in health professionals regarding the contagion of this disease, which influences the attitudes that nursing staff may demonstrate while caring for patients with this disease. Nursing staff must carry out their profession with great responsibility and professional ethics.
