Publicación Acceso abierto Autoestima, funcionamiento familiar y logro académico en estudiantes de secundaria de una institución educativa pública del distrito de El Agustino, Lima – 2025(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2025-10-23) Canchari Meiggs, Angela Socorro; Konja Cordero, Jesús Fitzgerald Kennedy; Paico Ruiz, Marcos JoséEl presente estudio tuvo como finalidad analizar la influencia de la autoestima y el funcionamiento familiar sobre el logro académico en los estudiantes de secundaria de una institución educativa pública de El Agustino. La investigación se llevó a cabo utilizando un enfoque cuantitativo y un método hipotético-deductivo, con un diseño no experimental, de nivel explicativo, tipo básico y con corte transversal. La muestra consistió en 190 adolescentes que cursaban secundaria en un colegio estatal de El Agustino, quienes fueron encuestados mediante la Escala de autoestima de Coopersmith, la Escala de Cohesión y Adaptabilidad Familiar FACES– IV y el registro de notas de los estudiantes. Los resultados manifestaron que la autoestima (β=0.18; β estandarizado=0.31; p<0.05) y el funcionamiento familiar (β=0.02; β estandarizado=0.60; p<0.05) tienen un impacto positivo significativa sobre el logro académico; además, se encontró relaciones significativas entre el logro académico con las dimensiones de autoestima y de funcionamiento familiar; pero no entre las dimensiones de funcionamiento familiar y la autoestima; por otro lado, no se evidenciaron diferencias significativas en función al sexo en ninguna de las variables mencionadas. En conclusión, a medida que se incremente la autoestima y el funcionamiento familiar de manera positiva, el logro académico se incrementará en consecuencia.Ítem Acceso abierto Burnout and engagement in nursing students at Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, Lima - 2018.(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2019-01-21) Domínguez Perla, Angélica Nathaly; Mendoza Lucho, Julissa Milagros; Matta Solis, Hernan HugoMaterials and Methods: This study follows a quantitative approach, and regarding the study design, it is non-experimental, correlational, and cross-sectional. The population consisted of 563 nursing students. The instruments used were the (MBI-SS), which allows for assessing the level of burnout in students, and the (UWES), which measures the level of engagement in students. Results: Academic burnout and academic engagement have a slightly positive relationship, as the Spearman correlation coefficient (Rho) is 0.101 (p = 0.009). A medium level of burnout was found overall (97.5%), with the dimensions showing medium levels in emotional exhaustion (74%), low levels in cynicism (79%), and medium levels in inefficacy (65%). Regarding engagement, a high level was found overall (58.1%), with the dimensions showing very high levels in vigor (46.9%), dedication (49.6%), and absorption (79.6%). Conclusions: Academic burnout and academic engagement show a slight relationship, with burnout predominating at a medium level and engagement at a high level.Ítem Acceso abierto Evaluation the academic satisfaction in students of the third year of nursing of a Private University of Lime 2019(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2020-01-31) Espinoza Espinoza, María Guadalupe; Palomino Taquire, RewardsObjective: To evaluate academic satisfaction among third-year nursing students at a private university in Lima in 2019. Material and method: The methodology employed in this study is quantitative, with a non-experimental, descriptive, cross-sectional design. The study population consists of 150 students enrolled in the third year (5th and 6th semesters) at a private university in Lima. All students who met the eligibility criteria were included. The data obtained was entered into a Microsoft Excel database and later exported to the statistical program SPSS v25, which was used for data processing and descriptive analysis. Results: The level of academic satisfaction among third-year nursing students during the second semester of 2019 was as follows: 32.7% (49) reported a high level of satisfaction, 59.3% (89) reported a medium level, and only 8.0% (12) reported a low level. In the academic aspects dimension, 46.0% (69) reported a high level of satisfaction, 44.7% (67) reported a medium level, and only 9.3% (14) reported a low level. In the administrative aspects dimension, the level of academic satisfaction was 30.0% (45) high, 46.0% (69) medium, and 24.0% (36) low. Conclusions: The level of academic satisfaction among third-year students at a private university in Lima is medium. The enrollment indicator frequently showed a low level of satisfaction, while the academic aspects dimension had a high level of satisfaction, and the administrative aspects dimension showed a medium level.
