The research was carried out under a quantitative approach, hypothetical deductive method, type of applied research, non-experimental cross-sectional design of correlational cross-section, counting with a sample population of 80 students from a private university in Lima. Being a non-probability sampling, due to the number of participants to complete the sample, for convenience, two validated instruments were used that helped the data collection The results showed that there is a significant direct correlation between the variables, using the Rho Spearman with a p value 0.000 less than 0.05 therefore there is a significant relationship, according to the general objective it is concluded that there is a moderate significant direct relationship between addiction to social networks and academic procrastination.Publicación Acceso abierto El Phubbing y las relaciones interpersonales en los estudiantes de secundaria de la Institución Educativa “San Alberto Magno” de Moniquirá, Boyacá, Colombia – 2017(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2017-11-17) Sánchez Vargas, Yenny Yuranny; Méndez Toledo, Heimer AliThe research aims to determine the relationship between Phubbing and interpersonal relationships in high school students of the "San Alberto Magno" educational institution of Moniquirá-Boyacá. The content of the thesis is based on two variables: Phubbing and interpersonal relationships in students. The research is of correlational type, as means for the collection of information were used, 2 questionnaires and direct observation to 72 students whose ages oscillate between the 11 and 17 years; SPSS Statistics version 22.1 was used to organize and process data. When developing the research it was found that 68.10% of students with high level of Phubbing has a low level of interpersonal relationships, as far as the use of the cell phone was found that 65.3% who have a high level of use of This device has a low level in interpersonal relationships; Therefore, with the following investigation we can conclude that there is a high negative correlation between the pubbing and the interpersonal relationships of the students determined by the Spearman Rho test = -, 708 and a P-value = 0.00; The above indicates that there is a great impact on social relations due to the use of digital devices, this situation generates social problems related to: communication, physical contact between students, conversations face to face; And at the same time transgress essential elements for communication.
