Criteria and standards for nursing staffing
(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 1905-07-09) Aranda Tuanama, Jessica Mercedes; Rodríguez Porras, Betsy Yvonne; Gómez Gonzales, Walter Edgar
Objective: Establish the criteria and standards for the provision of nursing staff. Materials and Methods: Systematic Reviews are an observational and retrospective research design, which synthesizes the results of multiple primary investigations. They are an essential part of evidence-based nursing due to their rigorous methodology, identifying relevant studies to answer specific questions of clinical practice. Results: 7 scientific articles were reviewed, whose main topic was the criteria and standards for the provision of nursing staff. Of all the articles that were found, the most relevant articles were included according to the level and quality of evidence, evaluating the agreement. and the discrepancy between the articles, and the least relevant ones were excluded. The articles were located in the databases: Scielo, Lilacs Lipecs, Medline. Conclusions: There are several diversified criteria and standards in Peru for the provision of nursing staff, which make coordinated work necessary at the level of the representative entities of Peruvian nurses. Health care companies or institutions do not apply a standardized model in the human resources management process. Said management is conditioned by the type of organizational system used, applied technology, action policy, work philosophy and existing human resources policy, purpose and functions of the personnel.

Quality of care and patient satisfaction care in the medicine service of the Vitarte hospital, 2023
(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2023-11-23) Quiquin Benavides, Cinthya Elizabeth; Gonzales Saldaña, Susan Haydee
This research had the objective of determining the relationship between the quality of care and the satisfaction of the patient treated in a hospital in Eastern Lima. It was a non-experimental design study, with a descriptive and cross-sectional correlational level, with a sample of 90 users. To collect data, the survey was used as a technique and the questionnaire as a measurement instrument. The two questionnaires obtained strong reliability after the pilot test with Cronbach's alpha statistic: 0.970 for quality of care and 0.948 for user satisfaction. The results showed that the quality of care was perceived as high by 66.7% of those surveyed, the same category was received for patient satisfaction with 76.7%. In turn, the inferential analysis showed that there is a significant relationship between the variables (p-value= .000<0.05), positive and high (Spearman's rho= .824). It was concluded by showing that there is a direct relationship between the variables studied, that is, a better quality of care is related to a high magnitude with user satisfaction with 95% confidence. Therefore, the alternative hypothesis is accepted and, consequently, the null hypothesis is questioned.

Quality of care and satisfaction of external users of a Lima hospital, 2023
(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2023-12-21) Deudor Chamorro, Jennyfer; Gonzales Saldaña, Susan Haydee
This research had the objective of determining the relationship between the quality of care and the satisfaction of external users of a hospital in Lima, 2023. It was a quantitative study, nonexperimental design, descriptive correlational scope and cross-sectional. It had a census-type sample of 86 users. To collect data, the survey technique was used and the instrument had a questionnaire. It was obtained by results that in quality of care the high level predominates (91.9%), followed by the medium level (8.1%), while in user satisfaction that primacy was achieved by the medium level (55.8%), followed by the high level (24.4%) and low (19.8%). In turn, the hypothesis test showed that there is a significant (p= .018<0.05) and slight (rho= .255) correlation between the variables that were the reason for the inquiry. It is concluded that the alternative hypothesis is accepted, thus refuting the null hypothesis. Therefore, the better the quality of care, the greater the user's satisfaction.
