    Effectiveness of advanced nursing practice in improving the quality of care for adult patients in hospital emergency departments

    Objective: Systematize evidence on the effectiveness of advanced practice nursing to improve the quality of care for adult patients in hospital emergencies. Methodology: These were systematic review studies, with an observational and retrospective design, the population consisted of 10 scientific articles no older than 5 years, using the Grade evaluation, published in English and Spanish in the database: Pubmed, Medline, Embase, Cochrane Library, Dialnet, Scielo, Lilacs. Of the total 10 articles, 100% (n=10/10) were from systematic reviews, from the United States 20%, Australia 10%, Belgium 10%, Singapore 10%, Spain 30%, Chile 10% and Costa Rica 10%. . Results: According to the findings of the reviewed articles, 100% (n=10/10) showed that advanced practice nursing is effective in improving the quality of care for adult patients in hospital emergencies. Conclusions: Systematic reviews allow us to demonstrate that 100% of the effectiveness of advanced practice nursing in improving the quality of care for adult patients in hospital emergencies.
