    Burnout syndrome and associated factors in the care staff of the Synlab clinical laboratory - headquarters in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic. Lima, 2022

    Objective: To identify the relationship between Burnout Syndrome (BOS) and associated factors in the laboratory staff at SYNLAB Central Headquarters during the COVID-19 pandemic in Lima, 2022. Materials and methods: A data collection form was used to gather information on biological, personal, work-related, and economic factors, and the Maslach Burnout Inventory - HSS was employed. Results: The found burnout level was medium (73.5%), followed by low and high levels (22.5% and 3.9%, respectively). The study population consisted of 74.5% females, with 50% in the 20-30 age group, and 66.7% expressed moderate satisfaction with their salary. A Spearman Rho of 0.875 with a p-value ≥0.05 indicated no correlation between the associated factors and BOS; however, a statistically significant relationship was found between BOS, age, and satisfaction with remuneration (p-values of 0.00 and 0.042, respectively). Conclusion: No correlation was found between associated factors and burnout syndrome, but there was a statistically significant relationship between BOS, age, and satisfaction with salary.

    Burnout syndrome and daytime sleepiness in Nurses of a National Hospital. Ate Vitarte, 2024

    The stress mechanism that leads to fatigue syndrome is a process that can impair physical, psychological, and work functioning, leading to mental and physical exhaustion and daytime sleepiness. This can trigger risk factors for daily activities. Objective: To determine the correlation between burnout and daytime sleepiness among healthcare staff in a hospital in Ate Vitarte, 2024. Approach: This is an applied, cross-sectional, non-experimental, hypothetical-deductive, descriptive correlational study involving 80 nurses selected by non-probability convenience sampling from a national hospital. The Epworth Sleepiness Scale and the Maslach Burnout Index were used. The statistical software SPSS version 27 was utilized for analysis. Results: The study found that 100% of the participants were female, aged 30-39 years, with 43.8% having overweight. 71.2% did not take medication or undergo surgery. All showed medium burnout levels, with 53.7% experiencing emotional exhaustion. Conclusions: A positive correlation was found between burnout and daytime sleepiness among nurses working in a national hospital, with a significance level of 0.00 (below 0.05) and a Spearman Rho coefficient of 0.391.

    Burnout syndrome and its relationship with the job performance of nursing staff in the 5th west hospitalization service of the National Institute of Neoplastic Diseases in Lima, 2022.

    Objective: to determine the relationship between burnout syndrome and job performance in the nursing staff of the 5th hospitalization service of the National Institute of Neoplastic Diseases in Lima, 2022. Material and method: it will be correlational, quantitative, observational, cross-sectional and descriptive, the population that constitutes it makes a total of 50 nurses, and the sample will be made up of the same number. The survey technique was used and the instrument uses the Likert scale, which describes the presentation, instructions, sociodemographic characteristics and the questionnaire called Nursing Stress Scale (NSS) and job performance evaluation questionnaire, its content validity was made and submitted to expert judgment, reliability was found by applying Cronbach's alpha reliability coefficient obtaining a value of 0.800 and 0.932 respectively. Data processing will be at the Norbert Wiener Private University, to obtain the required permits and to be able to present them to the ethics committee and then to the research area.

    Burnout syndrome and professional skills in the nursing staff of the growth and development service of the San Juan de Lurigancho hospital, Lima 2021

    Objective: To establish the relationship between Burnout Syndrome and professional competencies in the nursing staff of the Growth and Development Service at San Juan de Lurigancho Hospital, Lima 2021. Methodology: The study will be quantitative, applied, and non-experimental, descriptive, and correlational in design. For this research, the entire population will be considered, consisting of 40 nurses from the Growth and Development Service at San Juan de Lurigancho Hospital, Lima. Data Collection Techniques and Instruments: A questionnaire to measure work stress (Maslach, 1981) and a questionnaire to measure professional competence (2018) will be used. The reliability of the Burnout Syndrome instrument is highly reliable, with a score of 0.894. The professional competencies instrument also demonstrates high reliability, with a score of 0.929. Procedures: The research will process the data through quantitative data analysis, with frequencies and percentages for the variables and dimensions. A hypothesis test will also be performed using the non-parametric Spearman's Rho test to measure the degree or strength of the relationship between the variables. Statistical Analysis: The study will process the data by identifying quantitative data, frequencies, and percentages for the variables and dimensions. The hypothesis will be tested using the non-parametric Spearman's Rho test.

    Burnout syndrome and work performance in the nursing staff of the intensive care unit of the Octavio Mongrut Hospital, Lima - 2023

    Introduction: The physical environment where the nurses of the intensive care unit (ICU) work is a cold environment that is quite noisy due to the sound of the alarms of the cardiac monitors and mechanical ventilators, a place with a lot of technology which makes the staff have obvious symptoms of stress that in some cases become burnout syndrome, impairing the performance of their work. Objective: To determine the relationship between burnout syndrome and work performance in the nursing staff of the intensive care area of the Octavio Mongrut Hospital, 2023. Methods: hypothetical deductive method, quantitative approach, applied type, if the design will be non-experimental, cross-sectional and correlational, being the population of 72 people from the Intensive and Progressive Care service of the Octavio Mongrut Hospital, whose sample will be the total population. The survey technique and the observational technique will be used, being its instruments to collect the information the questionnaire and to determine the Burnout syndrome and a checklist to assess the processes of work performance. The collected data will be processed with the SPSS statistical package and the hypotheses will be tested and corroborated using the Spearman's Rho statistical test due to the quantitative nature of both study variables.

    Introduction: Health professionals are a group especially susceptible to suffering from burnout syndrome given the demanding nature of their profession and the environment, where it ir estimated that there are twelve nurses for every ten thousand inhabitants; This situation leads the nursing professional to redouble its efforts to meet the demand of patients and the expectation of patients and their families. Likewise, the nursing professional must handle a series of knowledge for the performance of the mission that correspondsto him within the health services. Objective: Determine the relationship of Burnout Syndrome with the Work Performance of nurses in the Emergency Unit of a Hospital in Lima - 2024. Method: The study will be observational, descriptive at a cross-sectional relational level. The study will be observational, descriptive at a cross-sectional relational level. The population will be made up of 120 nurses under a contract in any modality of the Hospital in Lima. The sample will be taken during the period February-April 2024 using the Maslach Burnout Inventory questionnaire and the job performance questionnaire, which will collect data to be processed through non- parametric tests to identify the relationship between the variables, in order to prove that Burnout syndrome interferes with the work performance of the nurses at Hospital of Lima.

    Condiciones de trabajo y fatiga laboral del profesional de enfermería del servicio de Neonatología de un hospital de la región Huánuco, 2025

    Introducción: investigar las condiciones de trabajo y fatiga laboral en enfermería es clave para mejorar la salud y el bienestar del personal, garantizar la seguridad del paciente y optimizar la calidad del cuidado. Identificar el estado real de dichas variables permitirá diseñar estrategias para prevenir el agotamiento y fomentar ambientes laborales saludables. Objetivo: determinar la relación de las condiciones de trabajo y la fatiga laboral del profesional de enfermería del Servicio de Neonatología de un hospital de la región Huánuco, 2025. Metodología: investigación aplicada, cuantitativo, correlacional y transversal. La muestra estará constituida por 46 profesionales de enfermería del Servicio de Neonatología. Para la toma de datos se utilizará dos cuestionarios validados y confiables que evaluarán a las condiciones de trabajo y fatiga laboral, así como a sus dimensiones. Los datos recolectados serán ordenados en una base de datos y procesados en el software SPSS (v. 27.0) y las hipótesis se probarán mediante el coeficiente de correlación de Pearson para escalas ordinales con el fin de buscar asociación de las variables de tipo cuantitativo.

    Disability due to lumbar pain and psychoemotional status in the administrative staff of a telephone company,2022

    Low back pain disability presents a high prevalence worldwide; for example, the level of impairment affects around 70% of the adult and working population. The psycho-emotional component is an important factor in musculoskeletal pain disabilities. Cognitive-emotional components, such as anxiety and depression, are currently part of the study of pain phenomena. The global prevalence of anxiety is about 10%, while in Spain, it is 7%. In North America, anxiety and depression affect 1 in 5 adults. Furthermore, the pandemic context increased these figures worldwide. This increase occurred among administrative workers who had to adapt to remote work, and as a result of the context, musculoskeletal pain problems significantly increased. The objective of this study was to determine the relationship between low back pain disability and psycho-emotional state in administrative staff of a telecommunications company, 2022. An observational, correlational, and cross-sectional study was conducted with 85 individuals. The Oswestry questionnaire and the Goldberg anxiety and depression questionnaire were used as instruments. The results showed high levels of depression and anxiety.

    Emotional intelligence and work stress in the nurses of the hemodialysis service of a clinic specialized in the kidney in the city of Jaen, 2022

    The general objective of the study will be the following: To determine how emotional intelligence is related to work stress in nurses of the hemodialysis service of a specialized kidney clinic in the city of Jaén, 2022. The methodological characteristics will establish a hypothetical-deductive method, where a sample represented by 20 nurses has been counted with the use of a questionnaire for data collection. The results will be presented by means of descriptive and inferential statistics, with the purpose of being able to offer an answer by means of statistics to each of the stated objectives. Likewise, it will be concluded on the basis of each response offered by the objectives analyzed, seeking to offer a specific response to each approach taken.

    Emotional overload in direct family caregivers of patients with schizophrenia in the Regional Teaching Hospital of Trujillo

    Introduction: The World Health Organization (WHO) determines Schizophrenia as main imbalances in judgment, perceptions, feelings and speech ability. While emotional overload is defined as physical, mental and social wear and tear that in the long term could generate negative consequences or some type of disorder, you can find ways to cope and confront this type of situation by creating coping skills. Objective: Determine the emotional overload in direct family caregivers of patients with schizophrenia at the Regional Teaching Hospital of Trujillo in 2020. Methodology: A descriptive, non-experimental, cross-sectional study is carried out. The study population is made up of 70 direct caregivers of hospitalized patients. The Spanish version of Zarit's emotional overload will be applied as an instrument according to 3 dimensions: Impact of care, quality of the interpersonal relationship, self-efficacy expectations. The data obtained will be tabulated and statistically processed, applying the SPSS 22 statistical package and Excel.

    Estrés laboral y calidad del cuidado del profesional de enfermería en el servicio de emergencia del Hospital Nacional Dos de Mayo Lima, 2025

    Este estudio tiene como objetivo el de determinar cuál es la relación entre el estrés laboral y calidad del cuidado del profesional de enfermería en el servicio de emergencia del hospital nacional dos de mayo lima, 2025 asimismo, la hipótesis es saber si existe una relación estadísticamente significativa entre el estrés laboral y calidad del cuidado del profesional de enfermería en el servicio de emergencia de un Hospital Nacional Dos De Mayo. El estudio es de enfoque cuantitativo, método deductivo-hipotético, tipo aplicada y de diseño no experimental con un corte transversal correlacional, en una muestra de 80 enfermeros del servicio de emergencia, se usan las técnicas de encuesta con los instrumento de cuestionario sobre el estrés laboral que costa de 24 ítems y con un Alfa de Cronbach de 0,961 y el cuestionario español de calidad de cuidado que consta de 16 ítems con un Alfa de Cronbach de 0,98. Procedimientos: La recopilación de la información se llevará a cabo durante un lapso de 04 meses. Tras la recolección de la información, se estructurará en los programas como el de Excel para su respectivo control de calidad y organización; después se trasladará al software SPSS versión 25. 0. Análisis Estadístico: Para el análisis descriptivo se elaborarán tablas de frecuencias, métricas de tendencia central y dispersión, así como representaciones gráficas, así mismo se respetara los aspectos éticos de Autonomía, No Maleficencia, justicia y beneficencia de los enfermeros.

    Factores asociados al nivel de síndrome de Burnout en el personal de enfermería de la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos en un Hospital Nacional 2024

    Solo los enfermeros que trabajan en la unidad de cuidados intensivos de un Hospital Nacional participarán en el proyecto actual, que se llevará a cabo durante el 52 primer trimestre de 2024. El propósito es nuestro objetivo general. nuestra meta general: Determine cómo las enfermeras de la unidad de atención intensiva se relacionan con el síndrome de agotamiento. El enfoque se basará en un análisis de corte transversal. La investigación se llevará a cabo con 30 miembros de la población, que incluyen médicos, enfermeras y personal técnico. Se utilizará el cuestionario Malash Burnout Inventory HS para recopilar datos. Se solicitará autorización al personal encargado del área de capacitación y docencia del hospital para llevar a cabo el proyecto y utilizar el instrumento de recolección de información con consentimiento informado. Los datos serán introducidos en el software estadístico después de recopilarlos y los resultados serán representados en forma de tablas.     Level of occupational stress in nursing staff working in the emergency service of a private clinic - 2021

    Stress corresponds to a common disease in any work space. However, nowadays it is known that it has a more pronounced incidence in health personnel due to their constant coexistence with the triggering factors. Objective: To be able to determine the level of work stress in nursing staff who provide care in the emergency service of a particular clinic. Material and method: This project has a quantitative approach, with a descriptive research, with a cross-sectional section, the staff will be previously selected using the inclusion and exclusion method already mentioned in this work; the technique that will be applied corresponds to the survey and the information collection instrument to measure the stress level will be: the Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI), which was developed by Maslach and Jackson in the period 1981, is a Spanish version instrument consisting of 03 dimensions, and 22 items, which is valued on a Likert-type scale.

    Síndrome de Burnout y satisfacción laboral en los operarios de almacén en una empresa de Lima sur, 2023

    El síndrome de burnout representa en estos días un problema serio dentro de las diferentes empresas debido al daño directo que causa en el trabajo, así como el daño indirecto a la empresa en la que este ejerce su labor; las empresas de almacenamiento cuentan con trabajadores los cuales están expuestos a jornadas de trabajo muy extensas, con actividades repetitivas y que requieren destreza física. Objetivo: fijar como el síndrome de burnout se vincula a la satisfacción laboral en los operarios de almacén en la empresa, de Lima Sur, 2023. Método: este trabajo analítico responde al modo cuantitativo, del plan no práctico, descriptivo, correlativo de corte transversal. La población es de 150 operarios de almacén en una empresa de Lima Sur. En la ejecución del cálculo de la presencia del síndrome de burnout en la empresa, se aplicará las preguntas de Maslasch y Jackson, el que cuenta con una validez de 0.817, con una confiabilidad de 0.885 según alfa de Cronbach; así como servirá en calcular la satisfacción laboral, las preguntas SL/SPC, cuenta con una validez de 0.750 según Spearman y una confiabilidad de 0.840 para el coeficiente de Cronbach. Los instrumentos serán aplicados previo consentimiento de los trabajadores, así como se realizará el análisis respectivo de las estadísticas, así como la descripción de las variables y su correlación.

    Work stress and the humanized care of nurses in the intensive care unit of a clinic in Lima, 2024

    This research aims to determine the relationship that exists between work stress and the humanized care of nurses in the intensive care unit of a clinic in Lima 2024. The methodology falls into the category of applied type, in addition to having aquantitative approach. The level of study adopted is correlational, while the desing is defined as transversal, as well as non experimental. The simple is made up of 50 ICU nurses from a clinic in Lima. The technique was the survey and the instrument was the questionnaire, which is comprised of 31 items grouped into 3 dimensions. The data collection instruments used were the scales adpted and developed by Eda Ruiz Ccaulla, specifically the work Stress Scale validted in 2018 and the Humanized Care Scale, also adapted and developed by Eda Ruiz Ccaulla and colleagues in 2018. As criteria, Expert evaluation was considered to determine the validity of the instruments, While, to establish their reliability, Cronbachs alpha coefficient was calculated. In Conclusion The Word Stress in nursing profesionals in the intensive care unit of a clinic in Lima was mostly of a médium level. That is to say the greater the work stress, the lower the quality of care.

    Workload and quality of life of nursing staff working in the medicine department of a hospital in Lima, 2022

    The investigación “carga laboral y calidad de vida del personal de enfermería que laboran en el servicio de medicina de un hospital de lima, 2023”. The objective has been to determine the relationship between the workload and quality of life of nursing staff working in the medical service of a hospital in Lima, 2023. For this purpose, a methodology was proposed with a quantitative approach and a Non-experimental, transactional-correlational research design. The survey was considered as a research technique and the questionnaire as a research instrument. A sample of 80 collaborators was also considered for the collection of information. The research findings showed that the relationship between the workload and quality of life of nursing staff working in the medical service of a hospital in Lima, 2023 is statistically significant (p-value < 0.05). Spearman's Rho coefficient r = 0.455 allowed us to determine that the relationship between workload and quality of life is positive and moderate. In conclusion, the study findings allow us to conclude that there is indeed a significant relationship between workload and quality of life. This confirms the idea that an excessive workload can cause physical and mental exhaustion in nursing staff, which can compromise their general health and quality of life.
