The objective of this study is to analyze the effectiveness of the use of aloe vera and pitahaya in the treatment of constipation in consumers of the San Francisco market in Villa María del Triunfo. Lima - 2024. A basic research was carried out, using the hypothetical deductive method and a quantitative approach. The research design was non-experimental and cross-sectional. The sample selected for the study was made up of 133 consumers from said market. The result was that a high percentage of respondents consume both dragon fruit and aloe vera, with 70.7% consuming both plants, while a significantly lower percentage, 28.3%, do not consume them together. Regarding the forms of consumption, both products stand out in the kitchen, especially highlighting their use in baking, where 24.1% consume dragon fruit and 34.6% consume aloe vera. In addition, a problem related to consumption in the treatment of constipation is evident in 30.1% with dragon fruit, compared to 42.1% who recognize gastrointestinal problems associated with aloe vera. It was concluded that the use of Pitahaya and Aloe Vera in the treatment of constipation in consumers of the San Francisco market in Villa María del Triunfo is effective.
