    Gad7 generalized anxiety state in the dentistry service of the Víctor Raúl Haya de la Torre Dental Clinic in the COVID-19 pandemic situation, Lima 2023

    Covid-19 has raised concerns and increased anxiety among healthcare personnel. Dental care is considered one of the medical tasks with a high risk of contagion due to the proximity and frequency of work with patients within the consultation. The objective of this study was to determine the generalized anxiety state using the GAD7 scale in the Dentistry Service of the Víctor Raúl Haya de la Torre Dental Clinic during the Covid-19 pandemic. This was an observational and descriptive study. 84 participants aged between 21 and 66 years took part. Descriptive statistics were applied to obtain percentages and frequencies, and the Pearson Chi-Square test was used, with p < 0.05. The results showed that 32.1% of the professionals exhibited moderate anxiety on the scale, while 11.9% of the clinic's healthcare staff showed mild anxiety using the GAD7 scale. It was concluded that all healthcare workers at the Víctor Raúl Haya de la Torre Dental Clinic exhibited anxiety levels according to the GAD7 scale during the Covid-19 pandemic.
