Material and method: Descriptive, cross-sectional, retrospective study, carried out on 200 children under 5 years of age. 5 years. The technique used was in relation to the measurement of weight (kg) and height in (cm), with the Anthropometric Assessment Growth Curves, established by the Ministry of Health of Peru. Results: 71.5% and 14% belonged to the age group of the age range of 0-12 months and 13-24 months, respectively. For the weight/age component, 31 (15.5%) children had inadequate gain; 8 (4%) were overweight; and 1 (0.5%) had obesity. For the height/age component, 32 (16%) had inadequate gain; and 1 (0.5%) was overweight. For the weight/height component, 7 (3.5%) had inadequate gain; 10 (5%) were overweight; and only 1 (0.5%) presented obesity. Nutritional status mainly affected children aged 0-12 (8.7%) months, followed by children aged 14-24 months (3.8%). Methodology: This study has a quantitative cross-sectional approach and a correlational design, the total population is 300 mothers who attend the CRED clinic, of which only 59 mothers will be selected according to the sample calculation formula. for a finite population and the inclusion and exclusion criteria mentioned in the research project. Data collection techniques and instruments: The survey will be used as an instrument through which the information necessary for the development of this research will be collected through dimensions of quality such as the human dimension, timely, continuous and safe, this survey consists of 22 closed questions in which a code table was created assigning a value to the answers: never (1), sometimes (1) and always (1). The data collection will be carried out in a period of 2 months in the growth and development clinics of the EE.
