Material and Methods: Systematic reviews were used, for this 10 articles were selected, within the period from 2014 to 2018, from different countries. Among the articles included are: Systematic review, meta-analysis and randomized controlled clinical trial. Results: We reviewed 10 articles of which 60% concluded the effectiveness in reducing symptoms in mental disorders such as depression and anxiety, 20% for generalized anxiety disorders, 10% in reducing psychotic symptoms and 10% evidence the benefits for mental disorders in general. Conclusion: It is concluded that in all the articles reviewed, the effectiveness of mindfulness in reducing symptoms in people with mental disorders is evident.Ítem Acceso abierto Effectiveness of mindfulness in treating anxiety disorder symptoms(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2019-04-07) Márquez Calsin, Yonathan; Jimenez Guerrero, Alex Roy; Uturunco Vera, Milagros LizbethObjective: To analyze the effectiveness of mindfulness for the treatment of anxiety disorder symptoms. Materials and methods: the systematic review consists of 10 articles identified in the following databases: Pubmed, epistemonikos. Within the 10 evidence, the research design belongs to 90% (5/10) systematic review, meta-analysis, 40% (4/10) controlled trial, 10% (1/10) quasi-experimental. Results: 90% (n= 9/10) of the evidence found indicated that mindfulness therapy demonstrates a positive tendency to involve and motivate participation and organizational support to reduce anxiety, stress and depression. On the other hand, 10% (n= 1/10) of the evidence indicates that mindfulness-based intervention requires more research to more definitively determine which forms of mindfulness-based therapy can be effective in this context. Conclusions: Mindfulness is effective in improving symptoms in anxiety disorder because it increases individual resilience, as well as reduces levels of stress and depression, making it important to consider the patient's motivation.Ítem Acceso abierto Effectiveness of the mindfulness intervention to reduce stress levels, improve the health and well-being of workers(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2020-08-02) Lévano De La Cruz, Jessica Fanny; Obando Llontop, Zoila America Soledad; Pretell Aguilar, Rosa MaríaObjective: Systematize the linked evidence on the effectiveness of the mindfulness intervention to reduce stress levels, improve the health and well-being of workers. Materials and methods: The search was synthesized in 10 international investigations, where it was found that 40% of the investigations found correspond to the United States, 20% Australia, another 10% Colombia, 20% the United Kingdom and another 10% to Spain . Regarding the research design, 40% are experimental, 30% are randomized controlled trials, 10% are meta-analysis, 20% are systematic reviews, therefore, 100% of the evidence is of high quality; The data were obtained from Pubmed, Epistemonikos and scielo. Results: 100% of the evidence reviewed demonstrates that the mindfulness intervention is effective in reducing stress levels and improving the health and well-being of workers. Conclusions: After reviewing the evidence we can say that 10/10 evidence demonstrates that the mindfulness intervention is effective in reducing stress levels and improving the health and well-being of workers.Ítem Acceso abierto Efficacy of mindfulness-based interventions to reduce ruminative thoughts in adult patients with depression(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2019-09-22) Castro Cortez, Marcos Antonio; Avila Vargas Machuca, Jeannette GiselleObjective: Systematize evidence on the effectiveness of mindfulness-based interventions to reduce ruminative thoughts in adult patients with depression. Material and methods: Systematic observational and retrospective quantitative review, subjected to critical selection, using the Grade evaluation system to identify the degree of evidence, selected from the following databases: Sciencedirect, Wiley Online Library, Dialnet, PubMed. Of the 10 articles systematically reviewed, 40% (n= 4/10) are systematic reviews, 30% (n= 3/10) are randomized controlled trials and 30% (n= 3/10) are meta-analyses. The results obtained from the systematic review carried out in the present study come from the countries of England (10%), United Kingdom (20%), Switzerland (10%), China (10%), Spain (10%), USA ( 20%) and Netherlands (20%). Results: Of the evidence found, 70% (n=7/10) indicate that the intervention based on mindfulness is effective in reducing symptoms of depression. Conclusion: the intervention based on mindfulness is effective in reducing symptoms of depression such as ruminative thoughts.Publicación Acceso abierto Mindfulness en niños de edad preescolar, una revisión sistemática(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2024-11-12) Bernuy Portilla, Martha María; Contreras Pulache, Hans LeninIntroducción: Mindfulness es un concepto relativamente nuevo que desde su introducción a occidente cautivó a la comunidad científica por su amplia gama de beneficios. Actualmente, su práctica se extiende a todo tipo de población sin un rango de edad definido, haciendo especial énfasis en la educación preescolar como nuevo paradigma de innovación en la educación que promete excelentes resultados en la mejora de habilidades afectivas, cognitivas, conductuales y sociales de los niños. Objetivo: Analizar la efectividad de las intervenciones basadas en Mindfulness en la capacidad cognitiva, afectiva y conductual de los niños en edad preescolar. Metodología: La búsqueda tuvo lugar en las bases de datos Pubmed y Scopus, la selección de los artículos se desarrolló en Rayyan en base al método PRISMA, luego, se ejecutó la evaluación de la calidad metodológica con las herramientas Rob 2 y GRADEpro, junto al análisis de la lectura crítica; por último, para la extracción de datos se utilizó el programa Excel 2019. Fueron 7 los ensayos elegidos para la revisión. Resultados y conclusiones: Las intervenciones basadas en mindfulness han demostrado ser efectivas en la mejora de las capacidades cognitiva-afectiva conductual de los niños en edad preescolar; la mala calidad de los ensayos clínicos, la baja calidad de la evidencia, la heterogeneidad, falta de consenso y el modo de medición poco consistente, no permiten brindar una recomendación a favor de la implementación de programas en población infantil; además, todos los ensayos revisados evalúan sus resultados desde un enfoque dual (cognitivo-conductual o afectivo-conductual).
