Material and methods: Systematized bibliography reviews of 15 specialized articles that synthesize multiple primary investigations. Identifying the study, answer specific questions about clinical practice. Results: The population made up of nursing professionals or others, the empirical exploration is based on the Maslach Burnout Inventory technique, through the survey, as well as the Coping Estimation Inventory. The average prevalence in studies associated with Burnout syndrome is in the range of 12.2%, which generates a risk of physical and emotional alterations. Conclusions: Burnout syndrome is not exclusive to health workers, however given the characteristics of their work, which have to do with high levels of responsibility for success, and permanent contact with people in distress and need to heal, and longer working hours than any other type of work.Ítem Acceso abierto Quality of work life of nursing staff in the hospitalization area of a national hospital in Lima, 2020(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2020-08-21) Pizarro Sanchez, Luis Enrique; Uturunco Vera, Milagros LizbethAim. Determine the quality of work life of nursing staff working in the hospitalization area of a hospital in Lima 2020. Materials and methods. A quantitative, descriptive, cross-sectional study was carried out in a sample made up of 100 nurses who were surveyed, and the CVT – GOHISALO questionnaire was applied. The collected data were entered into an Excel database and processed using the SPSS 24 program; Results. The global evaluation of the quality of work life of nurses tells us that 71% have a high level of quality of work life, while 29% of professionals show a medium level of quality of work life. Conclusions. The study coincides with the cited research and the reviewed bibliography on the topic of study. There is a high percentage of quality of work life. However, it is suggested to continue with the line of study by replicating the experience to provide greater consistency to the results obtained and characterize the levels of quality of work life.
