Materials and methods: A qualitative approach was used, with a descriptive level and a non-experimental, cross-sectional design. The sample consisted of 86 mothers of preschool children. The survey technique was applied, using a questionnaire with 18 items divided into three dimensions: biocultural, socioeconomic, and institutional. Linear regression was used for statistical analysis. Results: There is an influence of biocultural, socioeconomic, and institutional factors on dropout, showing a strong positive influence of 0.858 and a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05. Additionally, biocultural factors influenced 89.7%, with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. Socioeconomic factors influenced 77%, with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, and institutional factors influenced 56%, with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. Conclusion: Biocultural, socioeconomic, and institutional factors influence dropout from growth and development monitoring in preschool children at the Peru IV Zone Health Center.
