Material and Methods: This study will be quantitative, with a non-experimental, cross-sectional design. The population will consist of 60 nursing professionals working in the emergency department of a National Hospital in Lima. The nursing professionals who will participate will be selected according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria outlined in the research. The technique used in this research will be the survey, through which important data will be collected efficiently and effectively. To measure the knowledge of nursing professionals in the initial management of patients with severe traumatic brain injury, the data collection instrument by Laura A. and Paco S. will be used. This instrument consists of 29 items, divided into 3 dimensions: neurological assessment, hemodynamic evaluation, and drug administration, providing values using the Stanines Scale (high, medium, and low).
