Ítem Acceso abierto Coping strategies and quality of life in patients with breast cancer oncology outpatient services in a National Hospital of Lima 2022(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2023-01-13) León Salgado, Jessica Elizabeth; Mori Castro, Jaime AlbertoObjective: This research has a quantitative approach, in terms of the methodological design it is descriptive and cross-sectional. The research was carried out in the Guillermo Almenara Hospital Outpatient Oncology Service where it was made up of patients with breast neoplasia. The data collection technique was the survey and the instrument used was the QLQ-C30 Questionnaire and the BRIEF COPE Inventory. Results: Of the 70 patients evaluated, 57.1% present a moderately Healthy Quality of Life, among the patients who use the Confronte coping strategies, 77.5% present a moderately healthy physical quality, among the patients who use the Confronte coping strategies. Confronte coping, 84.6% present a moderately healthy quality of social life, among the patients who use Confronte coping strategies, 79.3% present a psychological quality It's healthy. Conclusions: it was determined that there is a low significant relationship (Rho=407, p=0.000) between quality of life and coping strategies of patients with breast cancer.Ítem Acceso abierto Effectiveness of nursing care using the kangaroo mother method to reduce pain in premature neonates(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2021-06-13) Serva Arias, Cynthia Victoria; Jimenez Alfaro, Lizet Esperanza; Bastidas Solis, Miriam CeciliaObjective: To systematize evidence found regarding the effectiveness of nursing care using the kangaroo mother method to reduce pain in premature neonates. Material and methods: to prepare this work, the systematic review design was used, based on the GRADE evaluation system, with the purpose of evaluating the quality of each article selected from the reviewed databases ScientDirect, PubMed, EBSCO, Scielo. Results: the articles showed that 40% are randomized controlled trials, 20% systematic reviews, 10% clinical trials, 10% descriptive, 10% bibliographic reviews and 10% integrative reviews. On the other hand, in 90% of the articles evidence was found of the effectiveness of nursing care using the kangaroo mother method to reduce pain in premature neonates. A validated instrument will be applied to collect the information that will answer the hypotheses posed, quantitative measurements and statistical analysis will be made to determine the predictions or behavior of the phenomena or problems posed. This research is related to determining common parenting styles in military families. Therefore, it is vitally important to determine whether future parenting methods are really related to the inappropriate behavior of adolescents, it is important that parents identify and understand their parenting methods established in the family and thus avoid social problems, emotional, mental and cognitive development problems in children. The results obtained will directly benefit nursing graduates of the second specialty, the nursing staff who work at the Chorrillos military polyclinic and the multidisciplinary health team (psychologist, social worker, family doctor, etc.). They will work with intervention strategies such as seminars, conferences, workshops, etc. About good parenting styles and importance, attitudes towards parenting and emotional intelligence, as well as improving communication channels in the family and how it will benefit the children of the military family including father, mother, siblings, relatives and main caregivers.
