Methodology: Deductive, quantitative, observational and analytical study, whose population was composed of 100 health professionals, the Compassion Satisfaction and Fatigue Subscales - Version IV (ProQOL - vIV) questionnaire was also used as an instrument and to respond to the objectives and hypotheses Chi square test was used. Results: 56% of health personnel are under 38 years old, in addition, 54% did not perform physical activity, 55% of health personnel were nurses and 24% nursing technicians and 14% expressed having experienced traumatic events. . On the other hand, 50% of health collaborators showed a high/medium level of compassion fatigue. In addition, being female (p=0.022) and not performing physical activity (p=0.016) were sociodemographic factors associated with compassion fatigue at a high/medium level, while being a nurse (p=0.027) and the presence of traumatic events (p=0.004) were occupational factors associated with compassion fatigue at a high/medium level. Conclusion: There are factors associated with compassion fatigue in health collaborators (female gender, lack of physical activity, nursing professional, and witnessed traumatic events).Ítem Acceso abierto Immediate nursing interventions for burned children in the pediatric emergency service of a MINSA National Hospital - 2020.(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2020-12-13) Peinado Huaynalaya, Dina Elizabeth; Arevalo Marcos, Rodolfo AmadoObjectives: Determine immediate nursing interventions for burned children in the Pediatric Emergency Service of a National Hospital of the MINSA. Material and Methods: Quantitative approach, due to its statistically numerical measurement, the design will not be experimental, the method will be descriptive and cross-sectional. Sample population and sampling: It will consist of 60 nursing professionals who are working in the Pediatric Emergency service, of both sexes, appointed and hired, with or without a specialty in emergencies, and who agree to participate voluntarily. The study sample will be Likewise, it is not considered necessary to use the statistical formula, the sampling of the study will be Non-Probabilistic for Convenience; All participants in this study will have the same opportunity to be chosen. The technique is a Survey and the instrument to be used is a Questionnaire about immediate nursing interventions for burned children in the Pediatric Emergency Service of a National Hospital of the MINSA; It consists of 31 items, risk of infection (06 items), fluid balance (04), respiratory pattern (05), physical mobility (04), tissue integrity (04), pain control (04) and anxiety (04). It will be classified statistically: with YES or NO, into three levels: Bad (00-10), Regular (11-21) and Good (22-31)
