    Work overload and stress in nurses from the Vitarte Hospital emergency service during the pandemic context, 2022

    Workload overload is an issue that can severely affect nursing professionals, especially within the context of emergencies and disasters, given the nature of the service provided and the complex cases presented by patients. These situations can generate stress in this professional group, leading to physical, mental, and emotional damage. Objective: To determine the relationship between workload overload and stress in nurses working in the emergency service at the Vitarte hospital during the COVID-19 pandemic, 2022. Materials and methods: The approach is quantitative, basic, with a descriptive-correlational scope, non-experimental design, and cross-sectional. The sample will consist of 35 nursing professionals. The technique will be the survey, with the questionnaire as the instrument to measure the variables of workload overload and stress.
