Ítem Acceso abierto Effect of a cardiorespiratory exercise program on exercise tolerance in patients post-cardiac surgery at the National Cardiovascular Institute – 2022(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-11-15) Acosta Ruiz, Anita de Jesús; Cautín Martinez, Noemi EstherCardiovascular diseases are a group of disorders affecting the heart and occur due to modifiable and non-modifiable risk factors. Heart disease is the leading cause of mortality worldwide, making it a public health issue. Among the various treatment options, cardiovascular surgery is an invasive procedure aimed at improving the patient's quality of life. Early cardiac rehabilitation in the ICU seeks to reduce complications related to surgical treatment and plays an important role in the secondary prevention of cardiovascular diseases, providing greater functionality and independence, and enhancing patient autonomy.Ítem Acceso abierto Effectiveness of a cardiac rehabilitation program in patients post-acute myocardial infarction(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2018-03-25) Coveñas Yataco, Lily Noemi; Guillinta Lanjaine, Bertha Casimira; Rivera Lozada De Bonilla, OrianaThis research work is a retrospective observational systematic review with a total of 10 articles, which provide evidence that cardiac rehabilitation improves the quality of life of post-acute myocardial infarction patients.Ítem Acceso abierto Effectiveness of exercise-based cardiac rehabilitation in reducing hospital readmissions and/or mortality in adult patients with heart failure(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2019-09-22) Rodas Correa, Isis Yohani; Romani Vila, Maribel Juana; Matta Solis, Eduardo PercyObjective: Systematize the evidence on the effectiveness of exercise-based cardiac rehabilitation in reducing hospital readmissions and/or mortality in adult patients with heart failure. Materials and methods: A search was carried out for systematic reviews that are the reference standard for the synthesis of health evidence. The population was made up of 20 articles, of which through selection criteria such as: Evidence no older than 10 years, the degree of evidence of medium or high quality of which 10 articles were chosen that contain the main premises of the problem. in study. Results: The present systematic review consists of 10 scientific evidence linked to the effectiveness of exercise-based cardiac rehabilitation in reducing hospital readmissions and/or mortality in adult patients with heart failure. Of the 10 articles reviewed, 70% are systematic reviews. and 30% is a systematic review and meta - analysis. 100% of the evidence is of high quality. According to the country of origin, 70% of the evidence comes from the United Kingdom and 30% from Spain. In this sense, 80% demonstrate the effectiveness of exercise-based cardiac rehabilitation in reducing hospital readmissions as well as long-term mortality in adult patients with HF. 20% do not show effectiveness of exercise-based cardiac rehabilitation in reducing hospital readmissions and/or mortality in adult patients with HF. Conclusions: 80% (n= 8/10) evidence the effectiveness of exercise-based cardiac rehabilitation in reducing hospital readmissions as well as long-term mortality in adult patients with heart failure.Ítem Acceso abierto Efficacy of physical exercise in cardiac rehabilitation in post-myocardial infarction patients(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 1905-07-09) Morales Aguinaga, Gisella Teresa; Velasquez De La Cruz, Soledad Consuelo; Gómez Gonzales, Walter EdgarThis research is a Systematic Review with an observational and retrospective research design, which synthesizes the results of multiple primary investigations. They are an essential part of evidence-based nursing due to their rigorous methodology, identifying relevant studies to answer specific questions of clinical practice. It is observational because there is no intervention on the variables subject to measurement of the sample. Results: Cardiac rehabilitation focused on secondary prevention, on the reduction of cardiac risk, as well as on the recurrence of cardiac events and heart attacks. , which contributes to the quality of life and the reduction of mortality by 25%. Conclusions: The total of 05 articles systematically reviewed, 100% (n=5/5) evidence that physical exercise is effective for rehabilitation cardiac in post patients.Ítem Acceso abierto Factors involved in patient adherence to cardiac rehabilitation programs(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2016) Del Pozo Navarro, Jeanette Yajaira; Uculmana Franco, Rosa Juliana; Gómez Gonzales, Walter EdgarObjective: To determine the factors that influence patient adherence with cardiovascular disease (CVD) to cardiac rehabilitation programs. Materials and Methods: The analysis technique employed was the development of summary tables and intensive critical evaluation of the articles according to established technical criteria. Results: The studies reviewed, comprising 8 articles, have a high recommendation strength; 50% of them originated from Spain, while the other 50% was divided between Chile, Venezuela, Colombia, and Costa Rica, with the majority being case-control designs. Conclusion: Economic status, age, emotional aspects, and relationships with healthcare staff are factors that positively influence adherence to cardiac rehabilitation treatments, whereas female gender and concomitant pathologies are factors that negatively influence adherence.Ítem Acceso abierto Factors involved in patient adherence to cardiac rehabilitation programs(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2016) Del Pozo Navarro, Jeanette Yajaira; Uculmana Franco, Rosa Juliana; Gómez Gonzales, Walter EdgarThe study titled Factors Influencing Patient Adherence to Cardiac Rehabilitation Programs aimed to determine the factors that influence patient adherence with cardiovascular disease (CVD) to cardiac rehabilitation programs. It was a systematic review involving a population of 8 scientific articles published in indexed journals, which were obtained from the databases Dialnet, Lilacs, Scielo, EbscoHost, and Proquest. Conclusion: The systematic review indicates that economic status, age, emotional aspects, and relationships with healthcare staff are factors that positively influence adherence to cardiac rehabilitation treatments, while female gender and concomitant pathologies are factors that negatively influence adherence.
