Ítem Acceso abierto Effectiveness of the measurement of central venous pressure in the early detection of hemodynamic pathologies(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2018-12-18) Gonzaga Vargas, Luis Héctor; Cobos Schrader, Karina del Rosario; Calsin Pacompia, WilmerObjective: Systematize the evidence on the effectiveness of central venous pressure measurement in the early detection of hemodynamic pathologies. Materials and Methods: In this study, the research type was quantitative, with a systematic review and clinical trials design. The population consisted of 35 articles, and the sample included 10 scientific articles. Results: After the systematic review of the articles, 100% showed that 10% were from Poland, 10% from India, and 80% from the United States. Regarding study designs, 20% were meta-analyses, another 20% were systematic reviews, 50% were clinical trials, and 10% were prospective observational studies. Conclusions: It was concluded that 9 out of 10 studies show that continuous central venous pressure control in acute patients with hemodynamic alterations is a highly valuable therapeutic element. It helps avoid prolonging rapid perfusion to prevent the risk of hemodynamic pathologies, providing timely data for management and detection of these conditions. Therefore, central venous pressure measurement should be considered as a clinical data point to associate with others, and it should not be regarded as an isolated parameter.
