    Oral health practices in children from 1 to 11 years of age and access to information on adequate oral hygiene practices by tutors and/or responsible for these minors, according to the Demographic and Family Health Survey in the Peru in the year 2020.

    The objective of this study was to "Determine the relationship between oral health practices in children aged 1 to 11 years and access to information about proper oral hygiene practices by their guardians and/or caregivers according to ENDES 2020." The study used a quantitative approach with a hypothetical-deductive method. The study is based on secondary data from the 2020 Demographic and Family Health Survey (ENDES). The sample frame of ENDES 2020 included 37,390 households. The SPSS database was used for data processing, with an alpha value of 0.05. Upon analyzing the association between oral health practices and access to information, a statistically significant association was found (p = 0.014). Among children aged 1 to 11 years who brush their teeth 1 to 2 times a day, 41.3% did not receive information about oral care, while in those who brush their teeth 3 times or more, the percentage was lower (35.9%). The study concluded that there is a significant relationship between oral health practices and access to information.
