Abordaje conductual mediante Musicoterapia y medios audiovisuales en pacientes niños que asisten al centro odontológico de una universidad privada de Lima, 2025

El presente estudio buscó comparar la efectividad del abordaje conductual mediante musicoterapia y medios audiovisuales en pacientes niños que asisten a un centro odontológico de una universidad privada de Lima, 2025. Se elaboró una investigación cuantitativa, aplicada, cuasiexperimental, observacional y prospectivo; se analizaron 80 pacientes niños atendidos dividido en dos grupos de 40 niños por cada abordaje conductual, utilizando una ficha de recolección de datos. Se logró demostrar que, en cuanto a la efectividad del abordaje conductual mediante musicoterapia y medios audiovisuales en pacientes niño, se observa que la conducta inicial negativa en el 100.0% de los niños y con el abordaje conductual mediante musicoterapia se observa una conducta final positivo en el 65.5% de los niños y definitivamente positiva en el 27.5%, frente al abordaje conductual mediante medios audiovisuales donde la conducta final fue positivo en el 70.0% de los niños y definitivamente positivo en el 20.0% de los niños, la efectividad con musicoterapia fue del 92.5% frente al 90.0% de efectividad en los niños con medios audiovisuales; se evidenció que no existe significancia donde (p>0,05), así mismo, se concluye que no existe diferencias al comparar la efectividad del abordaje conductual mediante Musicoterapia y medios audiovisuales en niños.

La actividad física y los trastornos del sueño en los niños de la Institución Educativa Pacifico, Callao, 2024

Objetivo: Determinar la relación que existe entre la actividad física y los trastornos del sueño en los niños de la Institución Educativa Pacifico, Callao, 2024. Material y Métodos: Se realizó un estudio de enfoque cuantitativo, método hipotético-deductivo, de tipo aplicada, diseño no experimental de corte transversal y alcance descriptivo-correlacional. La muestra estuvo conformada por 81 niños de 9-12 años de ambos sexos que asistieron regularmente a la Institución Educativa Pacifico. Se utilizó como instrumentos de recolección de datos, el Cuestionario para la evaluación de los niveles de actividad física en niños (APALQ) y el Cuestionario Tucson Children’s Assessment of Sleep Apnea (TuCASA), para medir la actividad física y los trastornos del sueño respectivamente. Resultados: Se encontró una relación negativa y alta entre la actividad física y los trastornos del sueño (p=0,000, rho=-0,752). La media con desviación estándar del cuestionario de los niveles de actividad física fue de 13.27±4.05 puntos, donde el 45.7% presentó un nivel de actividad física moderadamente activo, 32.1% presentó sedentarismo y 22.2% un nivel muy activo. La media con desviación estándar del cuestionario del nivel de trastornos del sueño fue de 22.80±7.41 puntos, donde el 45.7% presentó un nivel de trastorno del sueño leve, 37% un nivel normal y 17.3% un nivel moderado. Conclusión: Se concluye que existe relación entre la actividad física y los trastornos del sueño en los niños de la Institución Educativa Pacifico, Callao, 2024.

Adherence to multimicronutrient supplementation in mothers of children aged 6 to 36 months from a health center, Peru 2020

Objective: Determine adherence to multimicronutrient supplementation in mothers of children aged 6 to 36 months from a Peru 2020 health center. Materials and methods: This study will have a quantitative approach and the methodological design that will be used will be descriptive and cross-sectional. The population and sample will be made up of 120 mothers of children from 6 to 36 months who attend a health center in Peru. In this research, the technique that will be used will be the survey, which will provide us with important and effective information. To carry out this research, the questionnaire developed by Delgado et al. will be used. (16) titled “Questionnaire addressed to the mother of a child from 6 to 36 months” for their research carried out in Tumbes-Peru during 2016. This instrument with a Likert scale consists of 19 questions that were grouped according to the factors of adherence to evaluate: social factor (5 questions), factor associated with the health personnel (4 questions), factor associated with the treatment (4 questions), and factor associated with the person providing the treatment (6 questions). A score of 1 to 3 points will be assigned, meaning low, regular and high adherence, respectively.

Anemia in children under 5 years of age and its relationship with growth and development in the Cred consultation of the Santiago de Surco health center, Lima-2022

Anemia in children under 5 years of age is a very serious public health problem that has not been eradicated, and its deficiency in the organism generates consequences such as poor learning performance and decay. The present research project will be developed with the objective of determining anemia in children under 5 years of age and its relationship with growth and development in the CRED clinic of the Santiago de Surco health center, Lima - 2022. The research study will be carried out by means of a "non-experimental observational design of cross-sectional and correlational level", without manipulating the natural course of these, since it will determine the relationship between the two variables. The study population will be made up of a total of 80 patients attending the CRED service of the Santiago de Surco Health Center. Data collection technique and instrument: it will be used with the prior authorization and consent of the mother. The results will be collected and processed and tabulated using an SPSS statistical system.

Anemia y rendimiento escolar en niños de 6 a 12 años del Colegio José María Arguedas del Agustino, Lima 2023

El presente estudio tuvo como objetivo establecer la relación entre la anemia y el rendimiento académico en niños de 6 a 12 años del colegio José María Arguedas del Agustino, Lima 2023. La investigación fue de tipo cuantitativa, básico y correlacional. La población estuvo conformada por los estudiantes primaria de 6 a 12 años del colegio José María Arguedas, de los cuales se seleccionó una muestra de 86 escolares del 1° al 6° de primaria mediante criterios de inclusión y exclusión preliminarmente determinados. Los resultados fueron, mayor porcentaje de primer grado, 26.7% escolares de 7años, 22.1 % de 12 años, los niveles de anemia 20.9% moderada, 5.8% leve y 73.3% normal. En cuanto a la calificación A tuvo el mayor porcentaje, asimismo el resultado de la correlación entre la anemia y los resultados académicos de los escolares fue de p-value <0.05. Concluyendo que, hay una asociación entre la anemia y el rendimiento académico.

La ansiedad y el síndrome de apnea obstructiva del sueño en niños del colegio Tomás Arieta Cruz, San Martin de Porres - 2022

La ansiedad está catalogada como uno de los trastornos infantiles más frecuentes y si bien el apnea obstructiva del sueño no cuenta con prevalencia a ese nivel, antecedentes sugieren que existe un componente psicológico en el desarrollo de esta última, por tanto, utilizando la lista de chequeo conductual de la ansiedad en niños de Ida Alarcon y el cuestionario TUCSON Children´s Assassment of Sleep Apnea (TuCASA) se plantea determinar una correlación entre ambas variables para poder implementar un nuevo enfoque multidisciplinario en los menores que padezcan las patologías en mención.

Antipyretic efficacy of combined versus individual use of acetaminophen and ibuprofen in febrile pediatric patients.

Objective: To systematically analyze the evidence of the combined use of paracetamol and ibuprofen versus their individual use. Material and Method: The systematic review of 10 articles on the antipyretic efficacy of the combined use versus individual use of paracetamol and ibuprofen in febrile pediatric patients in the emergency department was found in the following databases: Cochrane, SciELO, Medline, PubMed, and Elsevier. Of the 10 articles reviewed, 60% (6/10) correspond to the methodological design of randomized clinical trials, 30% (3/10) are systematic reviews, and 10% (1/10) is a simple review. All of them were analyzed according to the GRADE scale to determine their strength and quality of evidence. Results: 80% of the reviewed articles are conclusive, supported by 1 systematic review and 1 simple review, suggesting that combined therapy is better than monotherapy, and 6 randomized clinical trials showing that the combined use of paracetamol and ibuprofen works more effectively and even faster than paracetamol or ibuprofen alone. However, the other 20% recommend that further studies in larger populations are necessary to confirm its efficacy. Conclusions: Of the 10 articles reviewed, 80% (8/10) demonstrate the efficacy of the combined use of paracetamol and ibuprofen in febrile pediatric patients.

Apgar test and psychomotor development of the child from 12 to 30 months of age who attends the José Hernán Soto Hospital Cadenillas de Chota, 2022

Introduction. The first years of life are crucial, which is why research currently affirms that problems in adulthood originate in the first stages of life. The Apgar test measures the adaptation and vitality of the newborn after birth. Objective: Determine the relationship between the Apgar test scores at the first and fifth minute of life and the psychomotor development of the child from 12 to 30 months of age who attends the José Hernán Soto Hospital Cadenillas de Chota 2022. Materials and methods: Research with quantitative approach, non-experimental or observational design, transversal -retrospective. The population will be made up of 111 children between 12 and 30 months old attended in the 2022 growth and development clinic. The sample will be probabilistic and will be made up of 86 children. The STATS TM 2.0 program will be used to determine the sample. The technique to be used is documentary analysis for the Apgar Test and the Peruvian Child Development Assessment Test for psychomotor development, subsequently a base will be developed with the SPSS-V25 statistical program, the data analysis will be carried out using descriptive statistics, allowing an inferential analysis to be carried out that establishes the relationship of the variables; To contrast the statements, Perason's chi-square will be used.

Asociación entre el nivel de conocimiento y la práctica del cuidado de la salud bucal en niños peruanos de 1 a 6 años con anemia según la Encuesta Demográfica y de Salud Familiar, 2022

Objetivo: Determinar la asociación entre el nivel de conocimiento del padre y la práctica del cuidado de la salud bucal en niños peruanos de 1 a 6 años con anemia nutricional. Métodos: Se realizó un estudio descriptivo, de corte transversal, de la ENDES - 2022. Los análisis se realizaron con el Software SPSS 26.0, considerando el diseño de muestreo complejo de la ENDES. Se informaron las frecuencias relativas y absolutas, mientras que el nivel de asociación entre las variables de interés fue a través de la prueba Chi-cuadrado de Rao-Scott. Se consideró un nivel de significancia de 0,05. El nivel de conocimiento, como la información que recibió el padre, y la variable práctica de la salud bucal estuvo compuesta por preguntas sobre salud bucal del niño. Las variables fueron categóricas dicotómicas. Resultados: La población ponderada de estudio fue de 431 niños con anemia nutricional entre 1 a 4 años. El 52,6% fueron del género masculino, un 78,9% reside en área urbana. Del análisis bivariado, se asoció que el 90% de los padres quienes tuvieron información sobre el cuidado o higiene bucal tienen niños con prácticas de salud bucal referente a ser atendidos por última vez por un odontólogo hace menos de 2 años. Conclusión: Existe asociación entre un nivel de conocimiento que tienen los padres y la práctica de salud bucal en niños con anemia nutricional entre 1 a 4 años.

Asociación entre el nivel de metales pesados y perfil psicomotor en niños que asisten a un hospital nacional, Pasco. 2024

El trabajo titulado “Asociación entre el nivel de metales pesados y perfil psicomotor en niños que asisten a un hospital nacional, Pasco. 2024” investiga la relación entre la exposición a metales pesados (plomo, mercurio y arsénico) y el desarrollo psicomotor infantil en una zona altamente afectada por la actividad minera. El estudio, de enfoque cuantitativo y diseño no experimental, fue aplicado a una muestra censal de 150 niños entre 2 y 5 años de edad del Hospital Daniel Alcides Carrión de Cerro de Pasco. Utiliza dos instrumentos principales: la espectrofotometría para medir los niveles de metales en sangre y el Test de Desarrollo Psicomotor (TEPSI) para evaluar el perfil psicomotor. Se busca identificar si existe una asociación significativa entre los niveles de dichos metales y alteraciones en el desarrollo motor, lenguaje y coordinación. El estudio resalta la vulnerabilidad de los niños a la neurotoxicidad de los metales pesados, especialmente en contextos de exposición crónica como Cerro de Pasco. Su importancia radica en generar evidencia que contribuya a estrategias de prevención y políticas de salud pública que protejan el neurodesarrollo infantil en zonas de riesgo ambiental, informando además a padres, docentes y personal de salud sobre los efectos nocivos de estas sustancias.

Associated factors and dermatophytes isolated in children aged 6-11 years with tinea capitis treated in a private laboratory, Lima 2024

Objective: To determine the associated factors and the frequency of dermatophytes in children aged 6-11 years with tinea capitis treated at a private laboratory in Lima between January and March 2024. Materials and Methods: The study will use a deductive, non-experimental, and cross-sectional design to determine the relationship between the variables. The sample will consist of a total of 77 children aged 6-11 years with tinea capitis treated at a private laboratory in Lima between January and March 2024. Results: This research prioritized studying the frequency and relationship between dermatophytes and associated factors in children aged 6 to 11 years. The results showed that 39% of children had dermatophytes, with the presence of Trichophyton tonsurans (33.8%), Microsporum canis (3.9%), and Microsporum gypseum (1.3%). Conclusion: It was determined that there is no relationship between different demographic, socioeconomic, and environmental factors. The frequency of dermatophytes (p > 0.05) in children aged 6-11 years with tinea capitis treated at a private laboratory in Lima between January and March 2024.

Attitudes of mothers of children under 1 to 5 years of age regarding poor nutrition in a health center in the Cercado de Lima district, 2019

Objective: Determine the attitudes of mothers of children under 1 to 5 years of age regarding poor nutrition in a Health center in the Cercado district of Lima, 2019. Methodology: Descriptive, cross-sectional, prospective study in 81 mothers of children under 1 to 5 years old attended at a health center in the Cercado district of Lima - 2019. The survey was used with the Cisneros & Vallejos questionnaire previously validated within of an educational intervention evaluation. This instrument has 15 questions with three categories with scoring Results: Of the total, a favorable attitude of the mothers was determined where 55 (68.2%) agreed with the questionnaire items, 21 (25.7%) were indifferent and 5 (6.1%) disagreed with the study items. The most frequent age group was 16 to 20 years old (29.6%), then the 21 to 25 year old age group (27.2%). Forty-four (54.3%) mothers had 1 child and 55 (67.9%) mothers completed secondary school. Conclusions: Favorable attitudes of mothers of children under 1 to 5 years of age regarding poor nutrition were determined in a Health center in the Cercado district of Lima, 2019.

The objective of the work is to identify the biocultural, socioeconomic and institutional factors related to the mother's dropout in the growth and development control program in children from 2 to 4 years old. Barranca Hospital 2020. The study has a quantitative, descriptive, cross-sectional correlational approach. The study population will be made up of 176 mothers of children from 2 to 4 years old. For data collection, the survey will be used as a technique measured in a checklist that will evaluate the independent variable Biocultural, socioeconomic and institutional factors, a questionnaire will be used as a data collection instrument to measure the dependent variable Dropout of Growth and Development , a form will be used to collect information from the child's control card, all of this will be done through the home visit.

Biopsychosocial factors and desertion to growth and development control in mothers of children under 5 years of age at the maternal and child center in Villa María del Triunfo, Lima, 2023

To determine the dropout factors for Growth and Development control in mothers of children under 5 years of age at a Maternal and Child Center in Villa María del Triunfo, 2022. Methodology: The method will be hypothetical - deductive, quantitative approach, basic type, design Descriptive and cross-sectional, the sample will consist of 80 participating mothers applying the inclusion and exclusion criteria defined in the research. Data collection techniques and instruments: For the collection of information on the variable: Dropout factors for growth and development control, the instrument "Questionnaire of dropout factors for mothers who attend CRED programs" will be applied, consisting of of 20 items grouped in 3 dimensions. Procedures: a cover letter will be requested that supports the objective of the investigation by the Norbert Wiener University, likewise it will be coordinated with the head of service, hours in which the information of the mothers of children under 5 years of age can be obtained , the data sheets will be coded, after which a data matrix table will be designed in the SPSS V24 program Statistical analysis: Absolute and relative frequency tables, measures of central tendency and some operations with the values obtained will be used specifically with the items of the instrument to be able to evaluate the main variable and its dimensions, with said results of the analysis, the tables and figures will be organized that will allow the description of the results, the discussion and the synthesis of the findings that are the conclusions.

Calidad de atención de enfermería y su relación con la satisfacción de las madres en el control de crecimiento y desarrollo en niños menores de cinco años de un Hospital Público de la ciudad de Lima, 2024

Objetivo: Analisis de relaciónes de calidades de atenciónes de enfermería con las satisfacciónes de la madre en controles de crecimientos y desarrollos del niño menor de cinco años de Hospital Público de la ciudad de Lima, 2024. Metodologías: Se desarrollaron enfoques de estudios cuantitativos, aplicados no experimentales, correlacionales, de cortes transversales; Estudio con muestreos no probabilísticos, se ha trabajado con 157 madres de los consultorios CRED de niños en Hospital Público de la ciudad de Lima 2024, seleccionados al azar. Resultados. Las calidades de atenciónes enfermeros con satisfacciónes de la madre, hay regulares calidad con regulares satisfacciónes de madres en 73.9%. Las calidades de atenciónes enfermeros en dimensiónes humanas en satisfacciónes de la madre en controles crecimientos, desarrollos del niño menor de cinco años, con regulares calidades con regulares satisfacciónes de la madre en 73.2%. Las calidades de atenciónes de enfermería en dimensiónes técnicos científicos con satisfacciónes de la madre en controles de crecimientos y desarrollos, con regulares calidades con regulares satisfacciónes de la madre 80.3%. Las calidades de atenciónes enfermeros en dimensiónes entornos con satisfacción de la madre en control de crecimientos y desarrollos en el niño menor de cinco años, hay regular calidades con regular satisfacción de la madre 75.8%.

Calidad de vida del niño y calidad de vida del cuidador que asiste a un centro de rehabilitación integral, San Juan de Lurigancho, Lima – 2025

La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo establecer la relación que existe entre la calidad de vida del niño y la calidad de vida del cuidador que asiste a un Centro de Rehabilitación Integral de San Juan de Lurigancho, Lima – 2025. El método efectuado fue hipotético deductivo, enfoque cuantitativo, tipo aplicada, diseño no experimental, sub-diseño correlacional y de corte transversal; la población estuvo conformada por 80 cuidadores. Los instrumentos fueron: Pediatric Quality of Life Inventori (Peds QL) para evaluar la calidad de vida del niño y el cuestionario SF-12 para la calidad de vida del cuidador. Los resultados mostraron: Las enfermedades en los cuidadores fueron el estrés 50.0%, la depresión 30.0% y la ansiedad al 20.0%, mientras que en la calidad de vida del niño se obtuvo que el 82.5% se encuentra con pésima CV, 12.5% Mala CV y 5.0% buena CV. El procesamiento estadístico se realizó mediante el coeficiente de Rho de Spearman en donde se obtuvo un resultado de -0,443 (Correlación negativa moderada) y un nivel de significancia p = 0.000 > 0.05. Conclusión: Se concluye que sí existe una relación entre la CV del niño y la CV del cuidador que asiste a un centro de rehabilitación integral.

Calidad de vida y salud oral en escolares de dos instituciones educativas del distrito de Cerro Colorado – Arequipa, 2025

Objetivo: Determinar la relación entre calidad de vida y la salud oral en escolares de dos instituciones educativas del distrito de Cerro Colorado, Arequipa – 2025. Materiales y método: El estudio fue cuantitativo, correlacional, de diseño no experimental y corte transversal. La muestra estuvo compuesta por 109 escolares, seleccionados mediante muestreo no probabilístico por conveniencia. Se utilizaron dos instrumentos: el índice CPOD para medir salud oral y el cuestionario KINDL adaptado para evaluar calidad de vida relacionada con la salud. El análisis estadístico se realizó con el coeficiente de correlación de Spearman mediante el software SPSS v26, con un nivel de significancia de 0.05. Resultados: El 40.37% de los escolares presentó calidad de vida baja y el 38.53% mostró alto deterioro oral. Se halló una correlación inversa fuerte entre calidad de vida y salud oral (r = -0.72, p = 0.000). También se identificaron correlaciones negativas significativas con las dimensiones: bienestar económico (r = -0.694), autoestima (r = -0.660), bienestar físico (r = -0.599), relaciones sociales (r = - 0.565) y bienestar emocional (r = -0.523), todas con p = 0.000. Los escolares de primaria tuvieron mayor deterioro bucal y menor calidad de vida que los de secundaria. Conclusión: Existe una relación estadísticamente significativa e inversa entre la calidad de vida y la salud oral. Las dimensiones más afectadas fueron el bienestar físico, emocional, económico, social y la autoestima. Se recomienda implementar estrategias preventivas y de promoción de la salud bucal en el entorno escolar, especialmente en contextos vulnerables.

Calidad del servicio y cumplimiento del cronograma de vacunas en padres de niños menores de 5 años de un puesto de salud de Lima Sur, Santiago de Surco - 2024

La presente investigación tiene como Objetivo: “Determinar la relación entre la calidad del servicio y cumplimiento del cronograma de vacunas en el establecimiento de salud en padres de niños menores de 5 años”. La metodología: Método hipotético deductivo, es un estudio cuantitativo, correlacional y de corte transversal, asimismo, la población estará compuesta por 85 padres de familia que acuden a atenderse con sus niños menores de 5 años de un puesto de salud de Lima Sur.; los instrumentos de recolección de datos fueron dos cuestionarios que contaban con confiabilidad y validez de la variable percepción de la calidad se ha obtenido el valor porcentual en el nivel malo (38.337%), regular (23.33%), bueno (36.67%) y excelente (1.67%). cumplimiento del cronograma de vacunas se ha obtenido el valor porcentual cumple (54% y No cumple (46%). Respecto a la correlación de Spearman es 0.881, lo que es significativa en un rango de 0.05, lo que es menor a 0.05 lo indica que si existe una correlación positiva alta entre percepción de calidad del servicio y cumplimiento del cronograma de vacunas; asimismo, la significancia bilateral de p= .005 es mayor a 0.05. aceptándose la hipótesis alterna y rechazándose la Hipótesis nula. Concluyendo que, existe una correlación directa buena, entre ambos elementos estudiados.

Caring is looking after the well-being of the other person and is inherent to human nature, in such a way that an individual is capable of worrying about the risk that the other person suffers some harm or increasing their well-being, health professionals They have this principle as the foundation of their work, taking into account the needs and/or weaknesses of the patients, in order to carry out actions that ensure the physical, spiritual, emotional, and social well-being of the individuals under their care, in especially if they are minors. Immunization is a fundamental part of the human right to good health. Vaccination prevents death between 2 to 3 million people each year according to the global action plan. Materials and Methods: Research approach and design. The present study has a quantitative approach, non-experimental or observational design, descriptive cross-sectional, since it allows the research to be shown completely acquired in a given time and space. Population, Sample and Sampling: The population was organized by 100 mothers of children under twelve months of age who belong to the Broad Immunization program. Participants were selected taking into account the analysis of interest, including inclusion and exclusion criteria.
