Ítem Acceso abierto Effectiveness of single-port laparoscopic cholecystectomy in gallbladder pathologies(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2019-04-27) Leguia Caceres, Daysy Antonia; Ledesma León, Flor Olivia; Calsin Pacompia, WilmerSingle-port or natural-port laparoscopic cholecystectomy is a minimally invasive surgery since it reduces complications related to the approach, produces less postsurgical pain, shortens hospital time, thus improving cosmetic results and postoperative quality of life. To perform single-port laparoscopic surgery (CLPU) is carried out thanks to a learning curve in both the surgeon and the surgical team, their skills and abilities greatly determine the effectiveness of the surgery. Nursing staff must be aware of the adaptation of new techniques related to the benefit of the patient, for this we must be updated in all knowledge in relation to this type of interventions, many of the patients operated on under this technique agreed on satisfaction Due to the aesthetics of the surgery, this reminds us of Dorothea Orem's theory and the importance of helping the individual to carry out actions that promptly help their health, thus reducing post-operative pain with this surgery. It is very important to emphasize that CLPU can be considered major outpatient surgery, which means that it would end up decongesting hospitalization services, etc. Reducing patient demand, thus providing improvement in quality in nursing care.
