San Isidro 2022(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2023-02-02) Vera Trujillo, Jorge Luis; Yauri Purihuaman, Mary Cruz; Muñoz Jáuregui, Manuel JesúsThe research aimed to determine compliance with good prescribing practices (GPP) in prescriptions filled at the outpatient pharmacy service of the Anglo-American Clinic from September to November, in San Isidro. Methodology: This is a descriptive study with a quantitative approach and a non-experimental design. The population size was 740 prescriptions, and a sample of 253 prescriptions was evaluated based on the proposed GPP dimensions. Results: It was found that 100% (253) of the analyzed medical prescriptions from the Anglo-American Clinic's outpatient pharmacy fully complied with GPP standards across the four dimensions of the study. Additionally, a specific analysis was conducted according to the study objectives: 100% (253) showed a high level of compliance with GPP related to Patient Data; 100% (253) showed a high level of compliance with Physician Data; 98.42% (249) showed a high level of compliance with Medication Data; and 92.49% (234) showed a high level of compliance with Prescription Validity and Legibility. Conclusion: It was determined that all indicators highly comply with the standards specified in the GPP guidelines.
