The objective of this study is to determine the relationship between social skills variables and alcohol consumption in students in the 3rd, 4th and 5th grades of the secondary level of the San Agustín State Educational Institution in the city of Huancayo in the year 2020. The Approach is quantitative, with a cross-sectional correlational, non-experimental design. The sample is made up of 192 students, the instruments to be used are the Social Skills Questionnaire and the AUDIT Test. The statistical analysis method is through the Descriptive statistics analysis process using SPSS and Microsoft Excel for coding, qualification, tabulation and interpretation from the data obtained. Ethical aspects were taken into consideration such as the principles of autonomy, the principle of beneficence, the principle of non-maleficence and the principle of justice.
