Ítem Acceso abierto Humanized nursing care and anxiety level in patients undergoing colonoscopy procedures in a clinic in Lima, 2022(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2023-12-14) Palomino Vega, Katherine Brigith; Fuentes Siles, María AngélicaThe objective of this study was to determine the relationship between caregivers and the level of anxiety of patients undergoing colonoscopy procedures in a clinic in Lima, Lima, 2022. The study was developed under the hypothetical-deductive methodology, quantitative approach, non-experimental design, cross-sectional and correlational level. The population consisted of patients undergoing colonoscopy procedures in a clinic in Lima, the sample was 125 patients. Two instruments were applied, the questionnaire "Perception of humanized nursing care behaviors PCHE 3rd version" and the questionnaire "The Zung Scale". The general results showed that 33.6% of the patients perceived humanized care as good, 50.4% as regular and 16.0% as bad; the level of anxiety in 19.2% of the patients was moderate to severe, 45.6% registered minimal to moderate anxiety and 35.2% of the patients did not register any anxiety. The study concluded that the variables humanized care and anxiety level present a negative correlation (Rho Spearman=-0.328), which means that a good level of humanized care inhibits anxiety patients undergoing colonoscopy procedures; also, a significant correlation was found between the qualities of doing nursing dimension (Rho Spearman=-0.267), the openness to nurse-patient communication dimension (Rho Spearman=-0.232), the willingness to care dimension (Rho Spearman=-0.284), and the level of anxiety (Rho Spearman=-0.284).Ítem Acceso abierto Level of anxiety and its relationship with stress of patients subjected to the colonoscopy procedure of the gastroenterology office of a private clinic in the city of Lima 2023(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2024-02-05) Azaña Risco, Rene Alicia; Mori Castro, Jaime AlbertoObjective: Determine the relationship between the level of anxiety and stress in patients undergoing the colonoscopy procedure at the Gastroenterology Clinic of a Private Clinic in the city of Lima 2023. Methodology: A quantitative study approach, hypothetical-deductive, non-experimental method was developed, correlational, cross-sectional; The sample was made up of 119 patients undergoing the colonoscopy procedure through the survey technique with two instruments corresponding to each variable. Results: the results for sociodemographic characteristics show that age 36 and older predominated with 67%; for Marital Status Single 42%, in Occupation in Casual Work 44%, in Higher Education Level 57%. In the physical symptoms dimension of the level of anxiety with stress, mild or moderate anxiety with medium stress was found in 55.5%. In the cognitive symptoms dimension of the level of anxiety with stress, mild or moderate anxiety with medium stress was found in 54.6%. In the behavioral symptoms dimension of the level of anxiety with stress, mild or moderate anxiety with medium stress was found in 47.1%. In the level of anxiety with stress, mild or moderate anxiety with medium stress was found in 70.6%. Conclusions: It is determined that the relationship between anxiety level and stress of patients undergoing colonoscopy procedure in the gastroenterology office of a private clinic in the city of Lima, 2023 is positive and very good (Spearman's Rho = 0.744) and is statistically significant with a calculated significance value of p=0.032<0.05.Ítem Acceso abierto Resilience and level of anxiety in patients undergoing a colonoscopy procedure at the gastroenterology office of the Dafisalud Lima polyclinic - 2022.(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-07-25) Rodríguez Fernández, Romina Fernanda; Cárdenas de Fernández, María HildaObjective: To determine the association between resilience and anxiety level of patients undergoing colonoscopy at the gastroenterology clinic of the Dafisalud polyclinic. Material and methods: It had a quantitative, cross-sectional, descriptive and correlational approach. It was carried out on a sample of 65 patients who underwent colonoscopy procedures; two instruments were used: the 14-item Resilience Scale (ER – 14) questionnaire by Wagnild, which calculated the level of individual resilience, and the 20-item Spielberger Self-Evaluation Anxiety Inventory (IDARE). Results: 94% of the total patients surveyed presented a high level of resilience, on the other hand, 77% of the patients evaluated presented a high level of anxiety, followed by 23% with a medium level of anxiety. Conclusion: It is concluded that there is a statistically significant association between resilience and the level of anxiety of patients undergoing colonoscopy at the gastroenterology office of the Dafisalud polyclinic, the Rho Spearman coefficient is -0.280, which indicates that the association between the variables is inverse and its degree of relationship is low.
