Revisión Sistemática observacional y retrospectivo, que sintetiza los resultados de múltiples investigaciones primarias De los 10 artículos científicos, sobre Eficacia de protectores cutáneos en la prevención de lesiones de la piel periestomal 100% (n=10/10) de estos, evidencian que los protectores cutáneos son eficaces en la prevención y regeneradores de las lesiones de la piel periestomal y/o perilesional; reduciendo la presencia de eritema, dermatitis, enrojecimiento y denudación de la piel, contribuyendo en el control del dolor y comodidad del paciente.

Estilos de afrontamiento y calidad de vida en pacientes con cáncer colorrectal portador de colostomía de un instituto nacional de cáncer-Lima, 2024

Objetivo: Determinar la relación existente entre el afrontamiento y la calidad de vida en los pacientes con cáncer colorrectal potador de colostomía de un Instituto Nacional Especializado en cáncer Lima, 2024. Métodos: Se aplicará el método hipotético – deductivo, cuantitativo, será una investigación de tipo aplicada, no experimental, correlacional y de corte transversal, se contará con una población de 100 pacientes portadores de colostoma. Para recopilar la información se aplicará la técnica de encuesta y los instrumentos a utilizar será dos cuestionarios: Cuestionario de afrontamiento para pacientes oncológicos (CAEPO) compuesto por 40 preguntas con respuesta de tipo Likert y calidad de vida de pacientes con ostoma (STOMA QoL) compuesto por 20 preguntas con respuestas tipo Likert, ambos instrumentos validados, para la aplicación de los instrumentos se pedirá autorización de Jefa de enfermeras de la unidad, , así mismo los participantes firmaran el consentimiento informado. La correlación entre ambas variables se obtendrá por prueba de normalidad para su correcta elección.

Knowledge about Self-care and the practice of patients with Colostomy in the Surgery Service of the Regional Hospital Hermilio Valdizan, Huánuco - 2022.

The present research study aims to determine the knowledge about self-care and the practice of patients with colostomy in the Surgery Service of the Hermilio Valdizan Regional Hospital, Huánuco - 2022. Materials and methods; This study adopts deductive and observational research methods. The population will be made up of all patients hospitalized in the surgery service with a diagnosis of colostomy during the months of March to May 2022, a total of 50 patients, from the surgery service of the aforementioned hospital. The variables will be measured by a questionnaire framed 10 questions with alternatives where only one is correct, and for the practical variable the questionnaire consists of 19 questions with YES and NO answers. The data processing plans will be entered into the Microsoft Excel program, they will be analyzed using IBM, to later graph tables and graphs. Applying a descriptive analysis and then an inferential analysis with a Chi-square hypothesis test.

The objective of this work is to determine the relationship that exists between knowledge and practices on self-care in colostomized patients who attend the Surgery Service of the National Hospital Dos de Mayo, Lima 2023, its methodology being the hypothetical-deductive method, design not experimental with a quantitative, descriptive, correlational, applied, cross-sectional approach; being 50 colostomized patients as a sample, 2 instruments prepared by Magali Sujeli Espinoza Herrera will be used, which are validated; Both instruments have a statistical reliability, the questionnaire will last 40 minutes in the data collection for each participant, for its analysis and interpretation it will be through tables and graphs; The Spearman Test will be used as a statistical estimate to contract the hypothesis, with a confidence level of 95%, an error of 5%, which will be reflected in both variables in a contingency table.

Level of knowledge and practices of parents about colostomy care in pediatric patients of the national institute of child health, Lima 2024

The objective of this study is to investigate the correlation between the level of knowledge and care habits of parents/guardians in children with colostomies receiving treatment at an institute in Lima, in the year 2024. Methodology: The present research employs a quantitative approach, using a cross-sectional design to examine correlations between variables. The sampling method used in this study will be non-probabilistic and by convenience. The research will cover a sample of 90 parents or guardians who used the surgery service during the period November 2023 to January 2024. The data collection process will use a survey methodology, employing two instruments, the first consisting of 15 questions that measures the "level of knowledge about care" and the second has 28 questions and measures "parental practice". It is important to note that both instruments were validated in previous studies and adapted for application in the pediatric context.

Objective: To determine the relationship between the level of knowledge in colostomy care and its relationship with self-care practice in colostomized patients at the Hermilio Valdizan Medrano Regional Hospital, Huánuco 2022. Materials and methods: a quantitative correlational study in a population of 80 colostomized patients. A validated instrument will be applied to collect the information that will answer the hypotheses posed. Quantitative measurements and statistical analysis will be made to determine the predictions or behavior of the phenomena or problems posed. Throughout the research, research conduct attached to ethical principles will be maintained.

Mother's knowledge about colostomy care in pediatric patients treated in a hospital in Lima - 2020

The colostomy is the artificial communication of a portion of the colon with the abdominal wall; Its presence in a pediatric patient will require specific care because the minor is dependent; The mother being the one who assumes this responsibility and to do so will require knowledge about the care of her minor and thus avoid any complications. This being the impetus for carrying out this research project whose objective was to determine the mother's level of knowledge about colostomy care in pediatric patients treated at a hospital in Lima. The study is descriptive, with a quantitative approach and a cross-sectional design, the population will be 25 mothers of children with colostomies, this being the annual average of hospitalized minors with colostomies. Data collection will be carried out through a survey; with a questionnaire by Erika Amado Valenzuela, it includes 15 questions with multiple response options, whose value: correct of 1.5 and incorrect of 0. Between 12 to 23 know and from 0 to 11 do not know. This instrument underwent expert judgment for its validity and reliability using Cronbach's alpha.

Nivel de conocimiento y su relación con las practicas sobre su autocuidado en pacientes con ostomías en cirugía general de un hospital nacional Lima, 2024

Introducción: Es fundamental fortalecer la investigación en enfermería sobre el autocuidado en personas ostomizados en el Perú. La generación de evidencia local permitirá adaptar las intervenciones a las necesidades específicas de la población peruana. Además, es necesario desarrollar políticas públicas que garanticen el acceso equitativo a suministros, servicios especializados y educación en ostomías. Objetivo: “Determinar la relación existente entre el conocimiento y la practica sobre su autocuidado en pacientes con ostomías en el servicio de cirugía general del Hospital Hipólito Unanue, Lima– 2024”. Metodología: se empleará el método hipotético deductivo, el enfoque es cuantitativo de tipo aplicada y con un diseño no experimental de corte transeccional, la población y muestra censal que se empleará en esta iniciativa de estudio será de 150 pacientes ostomizados que se atienden en el área de cirugía del Hospital Nacional Hipólito Unanue. La técnica que se empleará es la encuesta la cual consta de dos herramientas, la primera valorará el nivel de conocimiento y la segunda la actitud práctica de los pacientes ostomizados; estas herramientas fueron validados mediante juicio de expertos logrando como producto una concordancia de 0.98 la otra consiguió una concordancia de 0.87, admitiendo la validez; para la confiabilidad de los cuestionarios se utilizó el KR-20 siendo de 0.90 para el primero y de 0.98 para el segundo, ratificando la fiabilidad de ambas herramientas. Finalmente, para el análisis inferencial de relación se empleará la prueba de correlación de Spearman.

The present research study aims to determine how nursing care influences user satisfaction with colostomy in the general surgery service of the Hermilio Valdizan Medrano Hospital Huanuco-2022. Materials and methods; this study adopts deductive and observational research methods. The population will be made up of all patients hospitalized in the surgery service with a diagnosis that warrants some type of colostomy during the months of February to May 2022, a total of 85 patients and 30 nursing professionals, from the surgery service of the aforementioned hospital, The first variable will be measured with a Direct Observation Matrix, aimed at verifying compliance with activities carried out by nursing staff in the care of colostomized patients in the hospitalization service on preoperative and postoperative care prepared by Meneses M, Susana P; Aguirre B, Dorys E, for the satisfaction variable, a questionnaire framed in a Likert scale will be used, with 24 questions with 4 alternatives of never (0) sometimes (1) many times (2) always times (3) prepared by Ancalle Vasquez Magaly - Cepida Torres Kely Rosalyn. Introduction: Colostomized patients require specific attention regarding colostomy care, in addition to the fundamental role exercised by the patient in their self-care; therefore, nursing professionals must assume their competencies and execute their assisting and educating role to favor their recovery and adequate insertion to their daily life. The objective of the study is: "To determine the relationship between knowledge about colostomy care and practices for the care of the patient with colostomy in nurses of the surgical service of a hospital in San Juan de Lurigancho, Lima - 2024". Methodology: Deductive Method, Approach, Quantitative, Applied Research Type, Descriptive, Correlational and Cross-sectional Design. The population consisted of 60 nurses, to whom 2 instruments will be applied: the first instrument is the "Questionnaire of knowledge of the care of the patient with colostomy directed to the nursing staff" created by León A., which was submitted to expert judgment and has a reliability KR20=0.99. The second instrument is a "Ficha de Observación Directa de las prácticas del cuidado del paciente con colostomía" by Aguirre D. which was validated by expert judgment and has a reliability KR-20= 0.90. The data collected will be analyzed using SPSS version 26 statistical software and will be subjected to descriptive and inferential statistical tests such as Spearman's Rho correlation coefficient to determine the relationship between variables.

It is a quantitative approach study since it will quantify the variables of the study. Non-experimental in design, since it is a study where there will be no intentional variation of the independent variables to verify the effect on the other variable. In addition, it will allow you to analyze the information collected and seek to answer questions that arise during the discussion of the results. The population will consist of a total of 150 patients, aged 18 years or older who have a colostomy, and who are treated in the surgery service of the Regional Hospital of Loreto “Felipe Santiago Arriola Iglesias”. Participants will be selected according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria of this research. Inclusion criteria. The following will be part of the study: Patients who are 18 years old or older. Patients who have a colostomy. Patients who have had a colostomy for at least 6 months. It will include men and women. Those who come from urban, peri-urban and rural areas. Patients who voluntarily wish to participate in the study. Patients who do not refuse to sign the informed consent. Exclusion criteria. They will not be part of the study: Pregnant women. Children and adolescents. Patients who have diagnoses of skin problems.
