    Relationship between internal communication and job satisfaction in nursing professionals of the nephrology service of the Edgardo Rebagliati Martins Hospital, 2017.

    Internal communication within a healthcare establishment, whether between management and employees or among peers, has some common points with intrinsic and extrinsic factors of job satisfaction. The objective of this study was to determine the relationship between internal communication and job satisfaction among nursing professionals at Edgardo Rebagliati Martins Hospital. The study had a quantitative design, correlational level, and cross-sectional cut. The sample consisted of 50 nurses working in the nephrology department of Edgardo Rebagliati Martins Hospital, to whom two instruments were applied: one for internal communication (adapted by the thesis authors) and another for satisfaction (General Satisfaction Scale NTP 394), both with 15 questions of 5 items, ranging between 1 and 5 points. The results show internal communication with a score of 51.22 ± 8.2; a value very similar to the one obtained for total satisfaction, with 50.68 ± 8.76. Inferential analysis indicates a positive correlation between internal communication and job satisfaction, as well as its intrinsic and extrinsic dimensions (p>0.05). It was concluded that internal communication plays an important role in determining the job satisfaction of employees.
