Ítem Acceso abierto Treatment efficacy of night versus day regimen treatment in the control of arterial hypertension in adult patients with chronic kidney disease.(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2018-07-08) Cabrera Andía, Zoila; Gálvez Oropeza Jéssica Angélica; Matta Solis, Hernan HugoObjective: To analyze and systematize the evidence on the effectiveness of the night therapeutic regimen treatment compared to the day therapeutic regimen treatment in controlling hypertension in adult patients with chronic kidney disease. Material and Methods: The following databases were used: Pubmed, Karger Publishers, Springer, Wiley, where 20% are meta-analyses, 30% are systematic reviews, 20% experimental studies, and 30% cohort studies, with high evidence quality in 70% of studies conducted in China, Spain, the United States, and Japan, and moderate evidence in 30% of studies from Spain, the United States, and Japan, respectively. Results: Of the evidence found, 40% (n=4/10) indicate that the night therapeutic regimen treatment is more effective compared to the day therapeutic regimen treatment. 30% (n=3/10) indicate no statistically significant differences in determining the treatment's effectiveness. 20% (n=2/10) suggest insufficient scientific evidence due to treatment heterogeneity. 10% (n=1/10) of the evidence found suggests the effectiveness of the day treatment. Conclusion: The night therapeutic regimen treatment is more effective compared to the day therapeutic regimen treatment in controlling hypertension in adult patients with chronic kidney disease.
