This study is quantitative, non-experimental approach, whose instrument that will be used will be the Maternal Role Adoption Scale by authors Garrido and Marchan. This research will be carried out in accordance with the principles of bioethics: autonomy, beneficence, non-maleficence and justice. Therefore, the participants will be informed pertinently about the research to be carried out and informed consent will be presented to them. IBM SPSS v25.0 Software will be used for statistical processing. Subsequently, the reflected data are interpreted, depending on the fulfillment of the research objectives.Ítem Acceso abierto Effectiveness of skin-to-skin contact for pain control during procedures in neonates(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2019-12-14) Tadeo Vilca, Yovana Erika; Matta Solis, Hernán HugoObjective: Systematize and analyze the effectiveness of skin-to-skin contact for pain control during procedures in the neonate. Materials and Methods: Articles were reviewed in a systematic retrospective and quantitative observational manner, they were subjected to a critical analysis, using an evaluation system to identify and demonstrate the level of evidence, where the following results were found: Epistemonikos, Scielo, Sciencedirect , PubMed, and. Cochrane. The results of the 10 articles extracted, 20% (n= 2/10) are systematic reviews, 80% (n= 8/10) are randomized controlled trials. Of the different studies found, it corresponds to the countries of the USA (20%), Iran (20%), India (20%), China (10%), Canada (10%), Spain (10%) and Turkey ( 10%). Results: Of the 10 studies reviewed, all showed positive results about the effectiveness of skin-to-skin contact in reducing pain in neonates undergoing routine procedures. Conclusions: All studies conclude that skin-to-skin contact is effective in controlling pain during procedures in the neonate and that its application should be before, during and after painful stimuli.Ítem Acceso abierto Level of knowledge about neurodevelopmental care in neonates by the nursing professional, service of the neonatal intensive care unit in a public hospital(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-02-20) Junchaya Cubas, Betty Milagros; Arevalo Marcos, Rodolfo AmadoObjective: To determine the level of knowledge about neurodevelopment care in neonates by nursing professionals in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Material and method: The research follows a quantitative approach, with a non-experimental observational design, cross-sectional, and descriptive in nature. The population consists of 30 nursing professionals working in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. A census sample will be used, as the entire population will be included. The survey technique will be employed, along with a questionnaire that measures the level of knowledge of nurses about neurodevelopment care, which has content validity and expert judgment. The reliability was assessed using Cronbach's alpha coefficient, which resulted in a value of 0.813, indicating that the instrument is reliable. The data will be processed using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) version 26.0, and Excel for Windows 2020 will also be used to input data according to a structured matrix as a database based on the measurement instrument.
