    Biosafety knowledge of ocular risks due to exposure to a light-curing lamp in dental students of the Norbert Wiener Private University-2021.

    The objective of this research is to determine the knowledge of biosecurity regarding ocular risks from exposure to the curing light in dental students at Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener – 2021. The research methodology was probabilistic, quantitative, basic type with an observational, cross-sectional, and prospective design. A questionnaire created by the authors Curiel Sarai and Eusebio Geraldine was used, which was validated and reliable with a Cronbach's Alpha of 0.96. The results, based on a database with 130 evaluated students, showed that 83.85% (109 students) had a high level of knowledge about biosecurity regarding ocular risks from exposure to curing light, 16.15% (21 students) had a medium level, and 0% (0 students) had a low level of knowledge. It was concluded that the level of knowledge is high among dental students at Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener.
