Ítem Acceso abierto Effectiveness of tacrolimus compared to cyclosporine in reducing delayed graft function in adult kidney transplant recipients(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2018-08-26) Fernandez Palacios, Fatima Tatjana; Orco Contreras, Ruth Magally; Matta Solis, Hernán HugoSystematic observational and retrospective quantitative review, subjected to critical selection, using the Grade evaluation system to identify the degree of evidence, found in the following databases: Pubmed, Wolters Kluwer, Insights, Wiley Online Library, Researchgate; They are studies, 10% are meta-analyses, 40% are experimental and 50% are cohorts, with a high quality of evidence in 50% of studies carried out in China, Germany, Brazil, Turkey, Australia, London, Brazil, Austria, Mexico respectively. Results: 80% of the evidence found indicates that tacrolimus is more effective compared to cyclosporine to reduce delayed graft function in adult kidney recipients of transplanted organs. In 10% of the evidence found, no statistically significant differences were found in the efficacy of both tacrolimus and cyclosporine, both of which had the effect of acute graft rejection in adult kidney transplant recipients of both treatments. 10% of the evidence found indicates that there is insufficient scientific evidence to determine the effectiveness of tacrolimus compared to cyclosporine. Conclusion: it is concluded that tacrolimus is more effective compared to cyclosporine in reducing delayed graft function in adult kidney transplant recipients.
