Ítem Acceso abierto Average variation of sales prices in dental treatments as a result of Covid _ 19, between the city of Andahuaylas and Abancay - Apurímac, 2021.(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2021-12-27) Torres Gonzales, Jaqueline; Chanamé Marín, Ann RosemaryThe objective was to determine the average variation in the prices of dental treatments as a consequence of COVID-19 between the cities of Andahuaylas and Abancay, Apurímac, in 2021. A descriptive-observational, applied, and cross-sectional study was conducted, with a sample of 48 dental clinics in Abancay and 45 in Andahuaylas. The following results were obtained: for simple dental surgeries, the average price before COVID-19 was S/ 38.87, while during the pandemic, the average price rose to S/ 53.92; for conventional orthodontics with brackets, the price before was S/ 2183.33, and during the pandemic, the average price was S/ 2527.42; for fixed prostheses, the price before was S/ 299.46, and during the pandemic, the average price was S/ 342.26; for composite resin treatments, the price before was S/ 59.49, and during the pandemic, the average price was S/ 71.54; for multirooted biopulpectomies, the price before was S/ 234.95, and during the pandemic, the average price was S/ 272.69. Conclusion: The variation in the prices of dental treatments during the COVID-19 pandemic compared to pre-pandemic prices was 16% in Abancay and 31% in Andahuaylas.
