Methodology: This is a systematic review of 10 articles from the databases Scielo, Epistemonikos, PubMed, EBSCO, and Elsevier, with the search restricted to articles with incomplete text. The selected articles underwent a critical review using the GRADE evaluation to identify their level of evidence. Results: In 100% of the reviewed articles, the use of moisturizers was found effective in preventing occupational dermatitis in healthcare personnel when used consistently and correctly. Conclusion: From the 10 reviewed articles, it is concluded that the use of moisturizers prevents the occurrence of occupational dermatitis in healthcare personnel, maintains sufficient water in the stratum corneum, and highlights the importance of allowing the moisturizer to dry before resuming work activities.
