Publicación Acceso abierto La expresion artistica como estrategia pedagógica para superar problemas de aprendizaje en el proceso de lecto escritura en estudiantes de básica secundaria de la Institución Educativa La Vega sede A, del Municipio de Piedecuesta, Departamento de Santander, Colombia(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2019-05-08) Montalvo Guevara, Olga Lucía; Rodríguez Bernal, Néstor Henry; Tafur Portilla, Raúl ArturoThe research carried out addressed learning problems that are presented in the classroom, the dyslexia and how this affects the school performance of pupils and students, and the use of techniques using artistic expression as a pedagogical strategy, helps to overcome the problem dyslexia. The type of study is correlational as it investigates as an independent variable (techniques of artistic expression) and another dependent (dyslexia), relate to their behavior in students and determine how they affect each other. The research is also descriptive because the learning problems are characterized around the reading writing, in particular of the dyslexia, indicating its most peculiar or differentiating features, through an enumeration of them. The project was implemented in the Educational Institution La Vega, in courses related to basic secondary campus Piedecuesta, Santander. Could be through interviews, surveys and observations revealed that a significant percentage of students of that level had problems of this nature. The researchers propose using this project with other teachers for the use of techniques of artistic expression as a leisure activity and teaching strategy optimally to improve school performance, and in particular to improve academic achievement and self-esteem of students with dyslexia. As the main result of the research it was established that formulating different means of expression of the graphic-plastic language using different possibilities and combinations, is a good tool to overcome the problem of dyslexia, with respect to writing and reading, in this way strengthen the performance of the affected community in its learning process. In addition, with the application of techniques of artistic expression as an intervention strategy can provide teachers and parents, criteria and pedagogical strategies to control dyslexia in students who suffer, also help students to have a better self-esteem and social development. Finally, the authors want students and dyslexic students are integrated into the teachinglearning process in harmony, which will be a support for future academic years or cycles, allowing you to achieve significant learning and implement them in their daily lives.
