A comparison will be made between manual therapy and the Mézières method, as both are used in professional practice but have not been studied for effectiveness. The EVA scale will be used to assess pain, and kyphosis and lordosis will be measured using the "flechas test," which has been used in studies with a Kappa index greater than or equal to 95%. The research is hypothetical-deductive, with a quantitative approach to test hypotheses. The research type is applied-comparative, with an experimental design and a quasi-experimental sub-design. Both groups will receive pre- and post-tests, with random assignment of participants.

Effectiveness of the use of sucrose in the management of acute pain in invasive procedures in neonates

Materials and Methods: A quantitative, integrative, observational and retrospective research of the Systematic Review type was carried out, whose data were obtained from the Scielo, PubMed, Dialnet, Cochrane and Google Scholar databases, which were subject to analysis and critical reading. Reviewing 10 articles, we found that 60% (n= 6/10) are systematic reviews and 40% (n= 4/10) are randomized clinical trials, according to which the quality of evidence was 100% high. According to the strength of recommendation it is 100% strong, according to the country where the investigations were carried out they correspond to Canada 10%, China 30%, USA 20%, Spain 20%, Netherlands 10% and London-United Kingdom 10%. Results: According to the evidence reviewed, we can determine that 100% (n = 10/10) of the articles indicate that when using sucrose in the management of acute pain in the newborn in invasive procedures, the result is effective, 20% (n = 2/10), that its effect is enhanced with the combination of other strategies such as heat and non-nutritive suction, but that does not mean that its administration alone is not effective. Conclusion: The systematic review leads us to conclude that the 10 scientific articles show us that the use of sucrose is effective in the management of acute pain in neonates undergoing invasive procedures.
